Meet Marley, an 8 month old male standard poodle from our October 2023 litter. He is available to a new home at no fault of his own. He is currently residing in Rochester, MN. His owner’s work schedule has changed and after much difficult consideration is looking to find a home that has more time for an active poodle! Marley is good with cats and dogs, current of vaccines, groomed regularly and has been very well taken care of.! You may contact his owner directly at 507-316-9867. Thanks so much 💙

The last pup of our fall litter has found her new family! and the best part is we get to watch her grow into an amazing dog. Mary is now named Blanche and lives in northern Mn and will be a duck hunting dog!! Plus best friend to a sweet 3 year old! 💕

The coolest thing happened over the weekend! A couple of our poodle families got together to do some field training with their pups from this litter! It is amazing how animals can bring people with similar interests together. Did you know poodles are considered the original water retriever? They are so athletic, 2nd smartest dog, hardy and versatile. Not to mention non-shedding!! I cannot wait to see what these two pups accomplish even if it is just enjoyment of being a hunting companion or maybe even some competitive trials!? We shall see! This is our Nels-now Timber and our Charles, now Charlie out at a game farm together!

Update: Grace has found an amazing family who plans to show her in 4-H and maybe some hunting trials! 💕

I have always mixed up Grace and Carrie, because they have the same coloring and are the same size! So, I discovered I actually posted Carrie the other day, this is the real Grace 😆. She is 18lbs today and shows a lot of potential as a bird dog. She was very interested in a pheasant wing Nels’ owner (now Timber) brought over. She is a beauty with just the right balance of smart and sweet. She is a very quick learner.

Next is Hans, the only male left. He is the absolute sweetest boy ever. Completely plaid back and quiet and also the largest at just under 25lbs today. He is perfect at grooming, he just lays in my arms while he gets trimmed up. He also has one small dot of black hair on his rump! He is a joy!

Another little girl is Carrie, she weighed in at 18lbs today, one of the smaller girls in the litter. She is a lover, aims to please. Already knows “come” and “sit” pretty well and is just a very sweet, quiet-natured pup.

Pups are now 12 weeks old and growing up a storm! We have 5 left, 4 females and 1 male. I will be updating pictures throughout this week. Here is one little girl, Nelly. She is currently 21lbs and the largest of the girls. She is very intelligent, inquisitive, always first and in the middle of what’s going on, energetic and a fast learner. She is interested in pleasing and just needs her own family!

It is unseasonably warm in northern WI today so we were able to get the pups into an outdoor run for some sunshine, exposure to chickens, older dogs, cats, machinery and trucks. They will have a vet visit later this afternoon when our vet comes to the farm for their 8 week checkup and then they will probably be very sleepy tonight!!
