Our babies are coming up on two years old -September 1! They still are a delight to play with-so is there 3-year-old sister! All three furry “people” were saved by Underdog Pet Rescue of WI, their foster families and US! Why not join the team and become a foster family or consider rescuing your next, furry roommate❣️

This article links nearsightedness (poor long distance vision) to time spent outdoors. 🤓 I know my eyesight has gotten worse since I began working at a desk all day. In my case thought, my vision deterioration could be from aging. 😂

Too many screens and a lack of outdoor playtime are causing record levels of clinical myopia, aka nearsightedness.

I believe the trick to helping a cat when their instinctual “panic button” goes off is too become still as a statue and feel calm inside. Show them you will not fight or run away. Show them to trust that they don’t mean to lash out. You may get a scratch or two at first, but then they will trust you. Their trust is a PRECIOUS gift of connection ❣️🥰

I love this girl!

Hi there! It has been a long while since I have posted. My husband and I have been easy integrating two kittens into our home with our two year old cat! This morning, we are getting the kittens used to the bedroom! This is a place our two year old comes to sleep with us. It’s part of the scent-swapping strategy to help our resident cat get used to her new siblings’ scent.

If we have another week (or two) of this type of interaction, then we introduce our tortie to her big sis!

What a “fetching” kitten!🥰

One puts the springy toys away and the other takes them out! Perpetual, kitten play!

She’s not so shy anymore! I just love my new clients!

Prior to opening Rest Easy Pet Sitting LLC, I was a public school teacher for 28 years. In addition to pet sitting, I serve as a yoga teacher (200RYT). Starting the Rest Easy Pet Sitting LLC has been a dream of mine since 2004. In 2004, my husband and I lived in Virginia and we needed in-home care for our dog because she became too stressed out in a kennel/boarding situation. Finding a loving, knowledgeable, pet sitting business that came to our home enabled my husband and me to better enjoy our time away from home. We knew our four-legged family members were happy at home. The convenience of contacting an in-home pet sitting business for support, anytime I needed to be away from home, was unparalleled. Rest Easy Pet Sitting LLC wants to provide that same peace of mind for you! ​

*Rest Easy Pet Sitting LLC is professionally insured to handle emergencies, should they arise. Although I have an extensive knowledge of signs of stress in pets, I want to be as knowledgable as I can be. Therefore, I am in the process of becoming certified for pet CPR and first aid capabilities!
