🐾 URGENT: 12 Lives Saved — Now We Need Your Help 🐾

We stepped in to rescue 12 cats who were slated to be euthanized at the Harnett County shelter. These sweet souls were out of time, and we simply couldn’t let their lives end there. Now they are safe—but their journey to a healthy, happy future is just beginning.

To give them the fresh start they deserve, each cat must be spayed or neutered immediately. This not only prevents future litters and reduces the burden on shelters, but also protects them from life-threatening infections and reproductive cancers.

✨ Our total cost for all 12 cats:
approximately $1,500.
That covers spay/neuter surgeries, basic medical care, and post-op recovery essentials.

We can’t do this alone. Every donation—no matter the size—directly supports these cats’ chance at a better life.
$10 helps. $25 helps. $50 helps. Truly, anything helps.

The last drawing helped, but we still have large bills to tackle. Adoption fees only cover basic care — but many of our cats need extra vet visits, surgeries, and treatments that add up fast. 💔

Our Story

Facilitate Rescue, Inc. is a small, all volunteer rescue founded in 2017 and dedicated to helping the cats and kittens who have found themselves at the Harnett County Animal Shelter. As cat lovers, these volunteers were heartbroken about the lack of rescue help for the cats in this rural area and have banded together to make a difference in the number of adoptable kittens and cats being euthanized at the shelter. It is also our mission to educate the community about the importance of spay/neuter and trap-and-release programs.

The volunteers of Facilitate Rescue pull cats from the shelter and provide them with temporary housing (foster care), socialization and vet care until they are adopted or transported to one of our out-of-state rescue partners where they may have more adoption exposure. Volunteers are always welcome and are needed to foster and transport cats!

We are a nonprofit organization that is tax exempt under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). Our Federal ID number is 82-2397650. All donations are tax deductible.
