🚨🚨Please share!!! Especially in West Haven,CT!!🚨🚨

We are searching for Cora! She was adopted with her brother Clifford back in 2023, and the adopter gave them away instead of returning them to the rescue. This weekend we’ve made the trip from NC to CT to pick Clifford up from the shelter after he was brought in wounded as a stray!

We have no idea what has happened to Cora! If you have her and she is safe, PLEASE let us know. That’s all that we want. If she has been found as a stray and she is not in a forever home, reach out and we will drive back up and get her. Once a FRI kitty, always a FRI kitty.

Thank you for helping us!

Our cat Clifford, along with his sister Cora, was adopted in late 2023 to a friend of their foster. The adopter later rehomed them both without consulting us or her adoption contract, which prohibits such actions. The adopter claimed not to have contact information for the person she gave the cats to. Yesterday we drove from North Carolina to Connecticut to reclaim our Clifford, who was found injured as a stray. After several days in the hospital and $565 in vet costs, he is going home. We don’t know where Cora is, but if she is found, we will come back for her.

This is rescue.

Bear Cub is a handsome , loving , playful boy who is always purring and looking for affection. His favorite things are head rubs, wand toys and playing with his foster sister Haley (more to come on Haley! They are so cute together!) He is not currently living with a dog but previously stayed in a home with a golden retriever who he loved and snuggled with . Bear Cub is sweet and friendly with children as well. Please apply to adopt this sweetheart if you would like to provide him with a loving forever home. ❤️

If you’d like to learn more about Bear Cub or set up an appointment to meet him, please fill out the application below!

Here we have a group of little ladies that are entering their princess era! The bundle of purr boxes came to the rescue from a mostly friendly colony of cats in Fayetteville. Their caretaker found it difficult to obtain resources, so they were being fed leftover chicken nuggets that the colony had to fight for. The colony is finally getting the love they need from another organization, and we are helping with getting these babies off of the streets.

All six girls came to us sick a couple weeks ago, but they are thankfully on the mend now! They required a whole lot of love, care, and medications, but we are happy to help. Can you imagine another six breeding females? 😳 We are overjoyed that these six babies will never have babies!

Be on the lookout for more on this group of royalty!

If you’d like to donate to their care, we can always use kitten food! All of the ways that you can donate can be found in our link!

Our Story

Facilitate Rescue, Inc. is a small, all volunteer rescue founded in 2017 and dedicated to helping the cats and kittens who have found themselves at the Harnett County Animal Shelter. As cat lovers, these volunteers were heartbroken about the lack of rescue help for the cats in this rural area and have banded together to make a difference in the number of adoptable kittens and cats being euthanized at the shelter. It is also our mission to educate the community about the importance of spay/neuter and trap-and-release programs.

The volunteers of Facilitate Rescue pull cats from the shelter and provide them with temporary housing (foster care), socialization and vet care until they are adopted or transported to one of our out-of-state rescue partners where they may have more adoption exposure. Volunteers are always welcome and are needed to foster and transport cats!
