We have another Puppy Class starting up Sat Oct 2nd at 9am! We'll be meeting at Dogville Playcare. In this class we will work on basic manners (like sit, down, and stand), socialization (to people, dogs, and objects), and house training (covering things like chew, potty, and alone training). We always have at least one puppy play session during class. Here we have the adorable Taz, learning to moderate his exuberant play. Shoot us a message to get signed up!

*These classes each have a version for dogs who are social on & off leash and one for dogs with reactivity. The reactive dog version requires either: previous training with us or a class evaluation to ensure a good fit for all!

This series will start with a 30 minute zoom intro/eval and then runs 5 week weeks. Those 5 sessions will take place at the Dogville on Barbur.

Here's a few little snapshots from our past Reactive Dog Series. Believe it or not, these dog's all have one main thing in common: they bark, lunge, whine, or otherwise carry on when seeing another dog on leash. In class, we spend the six weeks working counter conditioning and systematic desensitization. We teach the dog's some solid alternative behaviors for when they see another dog and work together to change their emotional response in those tricky moments.

In Reactive Dog classes we utilize management, desensitization and learning new skills in order to reduce reactivity towards other dogs. This week we brought out the target markers and taught "target" to the pups. We had a great time!
Our next class is starting next Sunday (5/2) at 2:15 pm. The classes run for 6 weeks with the first class being humans only. The class costs $250 and we are looking forward to meeting you and your pup!
