Sam has had a rough couple of days. First she missed her mostest FAVORITEST kiddos to play with Thursday on the coast shoeing trip to Majors (thanks Darci for not letting your kids miss school to play with Sam and depressing her the whole rest of the day and night. She jumped out excited and looked everywhere HUGE disappointment! - Sam loves your kids!) Then Sunday, she thought she lost Jim early in the barrel race day, she at least had the cutest, sweetest little girl to lay with her, give her hugs and help her feel loved. 🥰. Thank you Grandma Toni and Mom Ryan Bearden for sharing Shilo with us.

And the two year old (Bean girl) is coming along as well. Second ride and already listening to body movements on her own :)

When Jaymie and Jim swap horses for “special training time” SKip (Skippa’s Bright Star) has to put on the BIG girl panties and learn to run in all kinds of ground and all kinds of places - bit spooky 😳 But they are getting it figured out. Proud of Skip and Jaymie too :-) The two year old went through saddling up and tying up lessons here today back at home

Been awhile since we had a Judge colt to work with. He came to us with very solid foundation skills, making our job easy :) This one gets the pleasure of knowing all three of us. Terri figured out the lead changes, Jim is working with quickening the feet while maintaining QUIET, SMOOTH collection and control. (I always feel so spoiled riding a horse after Jim’s quiet hands and body control have worked with it.) This boy has come along quickly and will leave with Jaymie this week for some hauling and experience at the races.
