West Desert Spanish Gold, two year old stallion. Just playing around in the evening waiting for the sun to go down and the temperature to drop. He's 15 hands right now and has a good but mischievous nature. I've always been partial to buckskins and duns, but it's tough to find a more flashy horse than a palomino.

It's only been the last 5 years or so that I've owned light colored horses. Nothing really prepares you for how hard they are to keep clean. I've been trying for a while to get some better pictures and videos of Oro, so what does he do? This rascal waits until I uncovered the most rank part of the corral while cleaning and the first thing he does is grease both sides. He's still available, in all his filthy glory, by the way.
