Note to all cooled shipped clients:

We will begin collecting stallions on a staggered schedule beginning in April and going thru September:

Lazarus, Martzen and Valjet will begin collecting on Monday, April 15, 2024

Aitse, Ares and Landon will begin collecting on Monday, April 29, 2024.

We will be collecting on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule and please contact us directly (651-248-1317) the day prior to needing the collection so that we can make an appointment to bring our stallions in to be collected for you.

We will be utilizing the professional services of Red Valley Genetics formerly known as High Plains Genetics for all of our collections/shipping. The 2024 rate was just released. The collection AND overnight Fedex or UPS is $416.80 total. Their telephone number is 605-787-4808.

She’s located with our partner in MN but could easily come to Blackshire.

NOTE TO ALL MARE OWNERS: We will not be collecting from August 01 - August 13, 2023 due to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally as we will be unable to get to the repro clinic in a timely fashion. Cooled shipped semen services will resume August 14, 2023 thru September 30, 2023. We apologize for any inconvenience but there is no way to reasonably get thru the chaotic traffic that over 500,000 people bring to the area.

Our 2023 Breeding season is well under way! We are extremely happy with the collection/shipping services of High Plains Genetics, LLC in Piedmont, SD. They are accommodating and extremely customer service oriented. We are collecting on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule - we do still need to know the day prior to the collection in order to schedule an appointment. Their 2023 collection fee INCLUDING overnight shipping is $300. We will be collecting thru September so it is definitely not too late to get your mares bred!
