Operation SOS is a nonprofit mobile spay/neuter clinic dedicated to helping pet owners and community cat caregivers across the Treasure Coast! Our goal is to make spay/neuter, vaccinations, and microchipping affordable and accessible — because every pet deserves a healthy, happy life. 💙

With deep sadness, we at Operation SOS mourn the passing of Dr. Jane Goodall. Her life’s work — studying, protecting, and advocating for our closest animal relatives — changed the way the world sees nature, compassion, and our shared responsibility to this planet.
Dr. Goodall taught us that every individual matters, that kindness and understanding can spark change, and that hope must always have a voice. Her legacy will forever live through the countless lives she inspired and the protection she brought to the natural world.

🚨🐾 RABIES & MICROCHIP CLINIC TOMORROW 🐾🚨
We KNOW you have questions… so let’s clear up a few of the most common (and funniest) ones we get at every clinic:
Q: Can my 6-week-old puppy get a rabies vaccine?
👉 Nope. Rabies vaccines are only for pets 12 weeks and older.
Q: My pet never goes outside. Do they really need rabies?
👉 YES. It’s the law, and rabies is deadly. (Bats don’t care if your cat “stays indoors.”)
Q: Is the microchip a GPS tracker?
👉 Sorry, no. It’s not “Find My iPhone for dogs.” The chip only works when scanned at a vet or shelter.
Q: Can the chip move around in their body?
👉 It stays put under the skin—no, it will not migrate to the brain. 😅
Q: Do I need to bring my pet with me?
👉 …Yes. Yes, you do. 🐶🐱
Q: Can you vaccinate ME too?
👉 Nope, we stick to cats and dogs only.

Dogs & cats must be at least 3 months old
Dogs: under 70 lbs
Cats: must arrive in a secure carrier
Pets must be healthy and not in heat/pregnant/nursing
Income qualifications apply – services are for families who need help affording veterinary care
