Fisher Valley Felines is a Federal 501c3 non-profit, no kill animal rescue located in Fitchburg Wisconsin. We do not have special grants.

Fisher Valley Felines is a 501C3 Federal non-profit, no kill animal rescue and shelter located in Fitchburg Wisconsin. Over the past 10 years we have both fostered and adopted out numerous cats and kittens. Some remain at the animal shelter in life-long care, but most have found new families and new lives as pets. We believe that it is our obligation to give the cats and kittens we foster and adop

t a second chance at life. Our goal is to have the animals under our care feel like they are wanted, and needed. We keep their bellies full, provide them with a roof over their heads, make sure their medical needs are taken care of, and we love them like they are our own children. Fisher Valley Felines does not receive government funding. We rely on the kindness of others for the care of our cats and kittens. This is done via, donations, helping at the shelter, assisting in events and many other various ways. Second chances and happy endings don't happen often for cats and kittens. We are happy to assist it make it come true in any way we can

Want to give everyone the SADDDEST Update! In rescue you have Good days and NOT SO GOOD DAYS! Today was the later! Unfortunately sometime in rescue even though you do your DAMMEST and give these little kittens the most love, best food & Veterinary care in the world to keep them alive and it isn't enough! I received a call this morning that Baby Grey passed at 4:00 a.m. I want to thank Dr Tristan Daugherty-Leiter and Dr Evenson and all of the Staff at VCA Veterinary Emergency Service in Middleton for the Amazing care they gave Baby Grey while he was with us! We gave him our best shot being there for 2.5 days in a incubator receiving oxygen, fluids and meds. Run free Baby Grey! We loved you sssooooo much the short time you were with us! For those of you who donated Thank you. Your donations will be put towards his medical bill which was $3,220.61

PLEASE HELP US! WE NEED DONATIONS!

Every year KITTEN Season hits us HARD! And this year is NO DIFFERENT. Just in the last 2 weeks we took in over 27 cats/kittens. Most of them were from our local area. Our adoption fees of $125 kitten and that doesn't cover our costs!

I know there are Many RESCUES out there but we TRULY NEED donations. Everyone donates to the Large agencies but us SMALL GUYS NEED HELP ALSO. EVERY $ HELPS!

We are truly at the point of CLOSING intake as 12 kittens on Royal Canin and 12 on Weruva food and it is NOT Cheap! Royal Canin is $2.89 a can and we are going threw 12 cans a day! That's $34.68 day & 12 cans of Weruva $21.78 a day. Plus 2 bags of Royal Canin Baby Cat Dry which is $41 a bag and we are going threw 2 bags a week. That's not including the Pro Plan Kitten Dry food that we are going threw which is $57 a bag. So all in all about $50 a day for wet food and dry in addition.

DONATIONS are low. I know everyone is trying to get by but if you have an extra $ we would appreciate it. Last month about $120 in donations? We are TRULY Grateful to each and everyone that donates.

THERE ARE SOOO many Cats & kittens in our area that need help!

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

1, Host a food donation drive.
2. Buy a Gift card for us from Petsmart.
3. Everyone has a birthday. Do a birthday fundraiser on Facebook for us.
4. If you can't donate SHARE our post.
