Divergent Stables, LLC is a low-key horse training and lessoning operation, owned by Paulina Sobolewski. My goal is to pass along the knowledge I gained over the years and continue to further educate myself to better my horses and students/clients. My program is altered to focus on clients individual demands and to help achieve those goals set for their horses. I thrive to help students successful

What a fabulous first day at Essex Horse Trials! 🤩
Sitting in 6th overnight 🩷
35.9 dressage, got some silly marks that I felt could of been prevented, but Puppet wasn’t as tense as she usually can get. I should have done more prep in our transitions. Double clear in stadium, and XC left tomorrow. Course is long and the footing felt great! Looking forward to galloping on that track!!

We are one week away from our last show for 2024. Essex Horse Trials will be our first ever two day event, as well as, the end of my competitive season. After this event I will be stepping down to direct my focus on being a momma. Puppet may still do a show or two with my trainer, but afterwards we’ll be sticking to light flat work and hacking.

Liberty work is in the books too for both mares, as Stella has some gigs scheduled before I need to step down from that too. Stella’s most recent vet visit went well and she’s on the right path with her recovery and exercise program. Change is happening, but we are super excited for this next chapter 🥰

Shiloh is coming along GREAT!! Big thank you to my husband for stepping in with her training, since I’m pregnant.

Shiloh is available for adoption. She is about 10-11 years old, TB mare- not tattooed so never raced and stands about 16.1hh. Shiloh was rescued from a kill pen in NC, and brought back to great health by her current owner. She had a wonderful restart with a trainer in FL and made the trip to NJ to continue her undersaddle work. Shiloh has been progressing beautifully and would excel with a confident amateur rider. Exciting changes happening at the end of this year 🥰

Biggest change for now, owner/trainer/instructor, Paulina, is holding off on accepting current & new client horses that need ridden work done by her. If you need your horse to be worked with, Paulina can assist by riding lessons, ground work, clinics, demos, and liberty training; which will continue through most of the summer. Updates on services she will offer, will be provided throughout the months leading up to the baby’s due date.

Here is a glimpse of what my newer student, Emily, has been up to in her liberty lessons with her horse, Lex. Emily has been super dedicated, putting in her homework and the difference in Lex isn’t comparable to where he was when I first met him. Last minute entry to our first horse trials of this season. @sobol_89 & @domschramm With only a week and a half prep, Puppet performed with so much improvement since last year. There was a rider error that caused us a ribbon, but overall we finished 7th 🥰 Thank you @eloedie_devoucoux_pa_nj for coming out and supporting us! It was a wonderful show day 😎

Nice group lesson in some 70 degree March weather ☀️ This is an exercise I like to call Pony Express, which is like leap frog 🐸 Riders need communication, awareness, and ride-ability. Also, old man DC (our pony resident) came out of retirement to fill in for this lesson. Last time he was ridden was in Aug. and he acted like he never missed a beat 🥰

I had a blast at the @horseworldexpo with my mare Puppet. This was a first for her, we rode in 4 demos in 3 days. Thank you to @brendan_wise_equestrian & @unbridled_wings and @domschramm for the wonderful educational demos! Shout out to @fitsridingltd for our stylish riding attire, literally had some form of FITS on every day. Guess that’s the perk of comfortable riding clothes! My @redingote_equestrian also saved me from the cold night checks. We received lots of compliments on our saddles, @devoucoux_usa_can_official Only the best for my horses💚 #greenteam It was great catching up with our expo friends and clinicians. Looking forward to next year!

6 week update with Shiloh *Shiloh is available for adoption* She is progressing nicely. She is currently learning to accept bit contact and to move away from leg pressure. There are some moments in the clip where she tries to resist the pressure by throwing her head up, I just hold the contact steadily until she gives the correct answer. She truly is a sweet mare and always tries to please! 🥰 I think she is perfect for a trail riding home with schooling sessions in the ring with someone looking for their forever horse.

Shiloh is one of the sweetest kind eyed mares I’ve come across in a while. She is young with an old soul. Thanks to my @redingote_equestrian for allowing me to continue training horses in these weather conditions ❄️❄️❄️

Shiloh update 🌟 We had our first ride together last week. Weather took a turn for the worse this week, so we are forced to keep things at the walk due to the ground (you can hear how crunchy it is). I’m long lining her in the big ring to get use to it for when the ground becomes a bit safer to ride her. Not much phases this thoroughbred!

Who remembers this handsome mustang, River 🤩 This boy went through a serious neglect case with a few other horses. Luckily, with the help of Wild Lands Wild Horses Series & Fund This Mustang Life every surviving horse was taken in to a few different rescues. River safety landed a spot with Jaime. He came to me for a few months to get overall handling and beginning stages undersaddle. He was such a love bug and tried his best during each session 💚

Rue the QH mare🌺 pt.1 Rue was sent to me last year to get restarted. This mare had some great training in her past, but you can tell she carried baggage from the previous work done to her. She was super sweet and wanted to please, on the other hand, she just had a hard time letting go of old tension. I spent time gaining her trust and working on getting her walls down when riding.
