Got a sweet gift from Guinness. A gold band for my right index finger. He had his name engraved on the inside so if I get lost, everyone would know who I belong to😂🤣🐺

Where’s the beef? Don’t ask wolves...

Despite their big, bad reputation, a recent study found that wolves account for .009% of unintended cattle losses nationwide - fewer than are lost to domestic dogs, theft, or birds.

So what’s the real threat? Most of those deaths stemmed from health-related maladies, weather, and theft. Animal agriculture is a business and costs are incurred, just like every other business (except other businesses aren't subsidized by the government).

While we have ( in the Wolfdog Communitee) had differences of opinion. People we get along with, people we don’t and people, well, we don’t care one way or another about. There should be one common thread, our love for wolves and wolfdogs. In light of recent events, the need for change in animal cruely/torture laws is paramount and needs to be addressed overall. It will take more than a few voices, it will take a Community to roll it. Your voice is important, please use it when you can? 🥹

Has anyone ever seen this before? It started about a month ago under one eye and I thought either she got poked or bitten but, now there is a spot under the other eye too.

Just had a very honest question regarding my post this morning about Yukon and my preference for larger wolfdogs. “If you like larger animal, why are you breeding such a small female to Guinness”. A good, solid, honest question.

My answer was, although Mara is a smaller female( (28” inches” tall but only about 60 pounds) her genetics indicate she carries the ability to produce larger offspring.

Mara was the smallest of her sibliings and for the first month we had her, she ate almost nothing. I even took her to a Specialty Hospital in Oregon for an opinion. In the end, with the help and guidance of Terie Loftus, Mara began to eat and now eats slmost as much as the Jolly Giant!

Mr Yukon at one year as an example.There are some who prefer the smaller sized animals but, I lean toward the Northern British Columbian size goal. Tall, large b***d, heavy, but muscle not fat , long legs well furred , and a well shaped head. Just my preferences and all that I had hoped for. Thank you Druid and Maeve.
