Spirit is my first husky! He was originally trained to be my service dog, but about a year ago he had his first seizure. His younger brother, Magic has now taken his place and he gets to do fun, non stressful training games, walks, hikes and everything in between. Finding the correct medications that work for him and the side effects has definitely been a ride and journey. I am forever grateful he is with me, so I can give him the absolute best care he deserves. We have a new story to tell, a beautiful, magical and amazing husky boy, living his best life. Brooke Fagel is a professional dog trainer from Palm Springs, California. By embracing the power of positive dog training and avoiding the pitfalls of dominance and punishment based training, she’s making a commitment to our canine companions, to provide pain free and effective canine education.

Brooke specializes in Basic and Advanced Obedience, Service Dogs, Fear and Aggression Rehabilitation Training, Agility and Tricks.

Brooke’s philosophy is that dogs should be taught using humane, force free techniques that encourage dogs to learn, problem solve and think. There is no fear, intimidation, bullying or domination as there is in old school punitive training methods. Positive training is a much more effective methodology that promotes learning and helps rehabilitate dogs with stress, anxieties, fears, aggressive behavior and phobias.
