This month November has not been kind to my family in any way.. i decided to try something normal to me on Saturday I decided to take horses for just a day show in Bedford Va . Fergie went right in and was 5th in 2D and 16th out of 72 , and I was able to enter Eclipse in her very first barrel race.. She went right in and was all business placed 12th in 3D and 33 out of 72 horses.. I found out while I was there my daddy had passed away... I know he would have told me once I showed him the videos.. nice ride KK .. ❤️

Katniss came with me to Doswell and she really went in and worked .. I was extremely happy with her.. we come back to this pen in November I believe and hoping to see a nice time improvement and more fluent.. she finished in the 4D and my goal is to definitely have her in top of 3D when we return.. set goals , write them down, then get them done!

I want to congratulate Alex and Amanda Allison on the purchase of JM French Dynamite 🧨. This was not an easy decision for me I have shed a lot of tears and so thankful for my friends that have helped me .. sometimes God opens a door unexpectedly and he certainly did with this. She is an outstanding mare and I am so glad she will be close and I will be able to see her and love her still!! She has won me so many awesome prizes and checks.. I know she will be a blessing to Alex also!! ❤️❤️ Fergie , Katniss, Eclipse and Fame .. yal best be ready lol and nobody else contact me about selling any of these lol 😂 I’m not letting anymore go !!

ShezaStreakinLena aka Katniss is glad to be home from Perry Ga .. she got to see some sights and got some exhibitions in the Reaves Coliseum .. she took it all in stride it’s amazing such a large animal can be scared of big white walls lol

French Fire N Fame aka Fergie.. her beautiful saddle she won is finally here from Virginia State NBHA finals!! This was such a fun time!!! Looking forward to being back in Lexington with her this time next week for Colonial Nationals!!! I love this sassy lil blond bombshell with all my 💜

It’s too hot 🥵!! After a week of this high humidity n heat we are looking forward to storms moving in tonight n cooler temps forecasted!! Today is cold water hose downs , liniment baths, and standing in front of fans!!

Thankful the rain ended last night!! Sure makes for pretty pastures and thankful we got the rain.. the fires and droughts are terrible out west.. prayers for all of those farms and animals.

It’s a rainy rainy Saturday so spa day it is!! Manes n tails brushed n conditioned lots kisses n just spending time with horses in barn today!! “Ivory” is a yearling filly with the thickest mane n tail I’ve ever seen in my life!!

Tonight we had our last lesson before Elizabeth heads back to California!! Thank u for the delicious cookies!! I am going to miss this sweet girl! Enjoyed working with her this summer!!! Keep riding when you get back home!!!

Congratulations to Charleen on purchasing her first horse “Secret” I have enjoyed watching Charleen grow and ride here with me over the last couple months!! I have a feeling “Secret” and her are going to be a great team!! It’s fun to see people fall in love with riding as much as I do and move forward on their horse adventures!! ❤️❤️ enjoy your new 🦄!!

We use this chart here at the farm.. if you take lessons.. as July and August approaches we want to keep the horses safe Virginia can be brutal with humidity and heat index.. if we need to lessons may need to happen later in evening or we rearrange and happen on a different day!! Just a reminder!!! Most people don’t know this!!

PC Eclipsin Cash cruising through an exhibition in the pouring rain and not letting a big blue tarp distract her at the first😳😳😳 if anyone knows horses most of the time ..tarps n horses don’t mix well lol ..this lil filly is going to make a great horse!!

Ok yal I’m so happy for this young lady!! Bella had brought her super awesome pony to me several times and ridden one of mine also working on drills to really rate at barrels and finish her turns on the backside. She had a few things she wanted to work on .. and boy has she ever!! She worked super hard at my house, absorbing what we went over... took the drills home .. and been working hard at home and she won her barrel class last night!!! Hard work , determination, and just putting in the practice.. and you will see results! Sometimes it takes longer than other but don’t give up!!! proud of Bella and Chester!! ❤️❤️🦄🦄🦄

Super excited about this filly!! she is 3rd generation for me .. competed years on her grandmother and mamma.. I cannot wait to compete on her!! I am praying for her success as her training begins!!

Ansley first time loping a couple strides home!!! She has not really wanted to go much faster than a trot.. she has really gotten more confident at a trot and I am very proud of this young lady!!!

PC Eclipsin Cash first race 12th in 3D Bedford Va

Virginia Barrel Classic JM French Dynamite
Dynamite had a great couple runs over weekend she continued to get faster and has the heart of gold. She is the sweetest mare in the barn and I sure enjoy her!!

First time loping !!
Gracie had a lesson on Brûlée today!! She did wonderful!! She really wanted to lope and after some drills and a lot of making sure she was in control... she took right off.. I’m super proud of her Gracie is only 6 and a riding machine!!! She’s a great lil cowgirl and gonna be a heck of a barrel racer !!
Fergie had a great weekend too at the “Spring Break at Da Lake “ barrel race this past weekend! She is such a fun horse ..she may be small but she is mighty!! #FrenchFireNFame
We had a great time over the weekend at Lake Waccamaw!! Both mares got faster each day! Dynamite and I hit out personal best as a team in this pen.. and picked up a little $$$ I am so happy she is part of my life!! #JMFrenchDynamite
