Mom says I’m here to learn manners and obedience skills but I’m having a blast during training so that’s all that I care about! 🤪 Trainer Hannah says you can see more of my cute face on the stories while I learn all the things to be the best boy I can be!

Sweet girl Suki!

After her housemate Luna went through training, Suki’s family wanted to push her a little bit further! After a few private lessons to help her feel comfortable with her trainer, Hailey, and being at the facility, she has joined us for Day Training!

We are primarily focusing on her state of mind while she is here with us! We want Suki to feel comfortable & confident in her environment. Building a strong relationship, where she can look to us when she feels uncomfortable or unsure!! We are also helping teach their family how to instill proper boundaries between Suki & Luna!

We are so proud of how far Luna & her owners have come, and we know they will continue to go above & beyond with Suki as well!!

Treadmill time with Mr. Bogey!

A huge part of training, especially with Board & Trains, is that their needs are fulfilled!

Dogs have mental, physical, social needs plus ensuring they get enough rest!

A dog’s mental needs are fulfilled during their training sessions, physical needs can vary dog to dog but treadmill, play and walks are all things we use to fulfill them!

Play is also great for fulfilling a dog’s socials needs but hanging out and giving them snuggles is another way we meet their needs, and build relationships!

Sleep and rest are a huge part of our training protocol as it allows dogs to process what they are learning! Sleep loss can affect their physical and psychological health, which can increase behavior problems!

Fulfilling a dog’s needs is a large part of approaching training through a holistic mindset!

Private lesson client, Pongo, has joined us for Day Training!

His owners started with private lessons for him & his housemate, Panga, a while ago. We broke down dog behavior, communication, & relationship to its core, rebuilding the dynamic in their house. They are incredibly hard-working & dedicated. Wanting to be as hands on as possible, further educating themselves, his owners have gone above & beyond for their dogs!

We collectively decided that Pongo was ready to be pushed & advance some of those skills with some day training! We will be working on helping him regulate his emotions & big feelings in new environments, build his neutrality around people & dogs, & also progress his obedience & loose leash walking skills!

We are so excited to continue working with Pongo & his family while helping them reach their fullest potential!!

Hi! I’m Mabel!

Trainer Hannah says I’m a little bit of a wild child 🤪 I get very excited very fast and I’m unsure how to collect myself when I feel this way! I’ve had such a fun first day at training, I got lots of snacks for looking at Trainer Hannah and getting onto this bed thing!

While I’m at training I’m going to be working on my manners and obedience skills because as you can see I love to jump around! But first I have to work on my self regulation skills, Trainer Hannah said there is a time and a place for being a wild child… whatever that means! 🤷‍♀️

I also am going to work on being more confident in new places so I can go on field trips with my family! I’m so excited, right now new places make me nervous!

Keep an eye out for me on the stories to watch my progress!! I can’t wait to come back tomorrow! 🤩

Happy Graduation Day Otis!

It’s been a journey with Mr. Otis but so proud of all the hard work Otis and his Mom have done!

He is confidence in himself and confidence in his mom’s leadership has grown so much through all of our lessons! They have been crushing packs walks and Otis just did his first day of daycare, which he did fabulously!

Congratulations you two, you deserve it!!

This cute little Corgi is Luna!

Luna just started week 2 of training & we are absolutely loving having her here!! She has such a big personality that puts a smile on our face each day!

This lady is soooo silly & sweet, but she struggles to regulate her emotions. Teaching Luna how to regulate her emotions is also a big part of helping her and her family at home! Luna struggles with resources around her sister, Suki, who is also doing lessons with us! Focusing on both of them learning how to co-exist without conflict!

Getting Luna to engage or any attempts to communicate with her when a new stimuli was added to the picture, used to be impossible! Over the past week we have already seen so much improve with this little lady and can’t wait to watch her family tackle the world through training!

This playful guy is Bogey!

He is a bit of a wild man with some anxious tendencies when in new situations. He has a history of biting and snapping at his family when he doesn’t want to do something, which has also caused his family to be hesitant to touch him.

His family realized that this needed to be addressed as soon as possible and got him signed up for trianing at 7 months old! As they realized the sooner the better!

Over the week we have started to see Bogey come out of his shell more and see more of HIM rather than his anxious tendencies. While some people may see a spastic puppy, deep down this is rooted in uncertainty!

We are so excited to watch Bogey and his family blossom with training, learning how to read him and help guide him through life!

This little lady is Sophie!

Sophie has started training & is quite the intelligent puppy! She loves to learn, but struggles to regulate her big feelings!

While her mom has done a wonderful job teaching her great obedience foundations, they needed a little extra help advancing Sophie’s skills!

We are working on building self regulation skills in new environments, proofing her obedience by adding in some more duration & adding distractions, as well as teaching her some more advanced skills!

We are having so much fun teaching this little puppy new things & watching her continue to learn!

Help us welcome Charlie into training!

Charlie went to training elsewhere as a puppy where he has a nice foundation in obedience! When he is dad brought him in for an eval when he started to notice a change in Charlie’s overall attitude towards life!
Charlie has been rushed & attacked multiple times while on a walk, resulting in some trauma. He’s become less confident in new environments & struggles to look to his dad for guidance.

While he is with us, we will be building back up his confidence, giving his owner the tools to properly communicate with Charlie, & also showing his dad how to advocate for Charlie’s space, no matter the occasion!

Advocating for your dog can be such a tricky task, but as trainers, we are here to help owners learn as well!

We are so excited to watch these two rebuild that trusting & amazing relationship!

Hi Lyra Jean!

This sweet girl is here for training to work on her overexcited tendencies with new environments and when seeing dogs or people on walks! Lyra is a very social girl but that doesn’t mean we have to say hello to everyone!

During Lyra Jeans training we will be teaching her better defaults to her emotions and neutrality to her environment as well as working on manners with guests and her obedience skills like heeling, climb, sit, down and recall!

Lyra has been a sweetheart to have at the facility and we are excited to see her and her mom blossom through training!

Ruthie here just started her training!

She is spunky, sensitive, sweet, & shy! When Ruthie has big feelings, she doesn’t know how to collect herself. With a newborn baby at home, her family needed a little extra help teaching her how to cope & work through them!

We are excited to get started working on improving Ruthie’s state of mind by building some self regulation skills, a communication system which will allow us to properly communicate in any environment, & finding an outlet that will help satisfy her breeds biological fulfillment!

Hello Winnie!

Winnie’s parents brought her to us when she was just a little puppy to jumpstart her learning and socialization through private lessons with the end goal to do day training when she was mature enough to introduce a remote collar system!

Her family has done a fabulous job doing their homework in private lessons and it’s been so fun to watch that homework come to life with her here at the facility for day training!

While Winnie is here for day training we will be advancing engagement, leash pressure and climb worked on in lessons! She is also showing some fear with new dogs so we will be counter conditioning that as well as introducing her to a remote collar to layer onto obedience to work towards off leash!

We are so excited to see Winnie and her family tackle the world just as Winnie the Pooh tackles the hundred acre wood!

Fitz graduated!!

This goofy boy has learned a lot in the past 6 weeks, including self regulation, neutrality, heeling and recall! We are so proud of him and his parents for all the work they have continued to put in at home!
