Santa Paws 2024 was a huge success!! 🐶🎅🏻

We wanted to extend a huge thank you to everyone that came to the event and supported the local businesses as well as Passionately Pets! Collectively we raised $1,200 for Pawfectly Delicious, absolutely incredible!

These furry friends want to share tips on how to keep your pets safe during the holiday season! The holidays are a time for joy and celebration, but they can also bring hidden risks for your pets.

Here are some surprising hazards to watch out for this season:
1.Poinsettias and festive plants: Popular holiday plants like poinsettias, mistletoe, and holly are toxic if ingested. Be sure to keep them out of reach of curious pets.

2.Gift wrap and ribbons: Shiny ribbons and wrapping paper may look fun, but they can pose a choking or intestinal hazard if chewed or swallowed.

3.Scented candles and potpourri: These holiday staples can irritate pets’ sensitive noses and, if knocked over, could cause burns or exposure to harmful chemicals.
By staying mindful of these potential dangers, you can ensure a safe and happy holiday season for your furry friends. 🐾

On Thursday, December 5th Passionately Pets, Elissa Laderach of Shoshanna & Co at Compass, and Wholistic Hound Academy will be hosting Santa Paws from 6-8p.m. for photos with your pets. All proceeds to benefit Pawfectly Delicious ! 🐶🎄

Included in the ticket price:
-1 free edited photo with Santa
-1 bag of Passionately Pets treats
-Refreshments including a selection of beverages (both NA and alochol)
-Opportunity to socialize in a fun holiday atmosphereand more

Photographs will be done on a first come, first serve basis. All pets must be leashed and accompanied by an adult human for the duration of your visit. Do you want in on the fun but lack a furry friend? Come for the fun and you can borrow one of Elissa’s, she has two!

*Note* Time slots are limited so please get your ticket in advance to secure your spot!

Say hello to Skye! 💜
Skye has been a part of the Passionately Pets team for about a year now. What drew Skye to working for Passionately Pets was her desire to provide high-quality care to pets. She loves engaging and bonding with the animals. One of the many wonderful qualities that she brings to the team and the pets that she works with is her ability to connect with even the most shy or anxious cats. Sky has one black cat, his name is Pipixia, and his favorite things are food and scratching boards.

Outside of work, Skye enjoys relaxing at home, building lego, and deep cleaning her home. Her favorite local restaurant is Andy’s Pizza and the last thing she got delivered to her house was paper cat litter! Skye hopes to travel to Korea some day and try their traditional food.
