ingredients, locally raised vegetables and meats when ever possible and contain no preservatives. By using ingredients from local farmers we also contribute to the local economy, and support the farmers markets in the area. Dogs have the ability to wiggle each no

stril independently, breathe through the holes in the front of their nose and exhale through the side slits, and discern each individual smell making up what we could call a “scent.” As humans have about 5 million cells devoted to smelling, dogs have up to 220 million. Not only that, but dogs have four times the brain power devoted to processing sense! We may smell “vegetable soup,” but a dog smells each individual ingredient. Our
dogs’ noses are so powerful they can detect one tablespoon of sugar in the amount of water it would take to fill two Olympic-sized swimming pools! Since your dog has such a wonderful scent of smell he / she smells each and every ingredient in their food, this is why we only use the freshest fruits,vegetables and meats. Barkriffic’s dog treats are just that! But as always be aware of dog’s nutritional needs, food sensitivities and allergies.

Meet Droopy who was rescued from a shelter. He is now eight months old, but his MRI showed that his brain looks much like that of a 15 year old dog. His diagnosis = global rapid brain degeneration and unfortunately his neurologist thinks he will likely not live a very long life. His brain degeneration is the reason he was born with vision, hearing, & mobility impairments. His condition does not cause him pain & he has a great life full of all the things he loves.
Thank you to Leisa and Lynn who have incredibly big hearts for fostering through and adopting him through the Be Like Josh Foundation. He is now a beloved member of their pack.
He now has such an enriched life, full of adventure and love! Thank you, Leisa and Lynn, for giving Droop Dogg a wonderful home.
