AZ Micro Mini Pigs www.azmicrominipigs.com

Miniature Pigs have been around since the 1940's. Mini Pigs are not all Vietnamese Potbellied Pigs they are a mixed breed of swine and every farm has a different bloodline. Mini Pigs come in all shapes and sizes. So when I get asked the question how big are "they" well that depends. That's a very complex question. It depends on genetics, lifestyle, environment, and diet. The people that are making statements that all pigs will get over 100 pounds and grow to age 5 or more is absolutely incorrect. The latest research study that compared a Miniature Pig to a farm hog showed that the closure of the growth line of a Mini Pig closed between 16-24 months if they were on a steady diet. Fed unlimited feed however there would be rapid skeletal growth and weight gain. If I am an adult in my 40's have I reached my max weight? Of course not if I continue to eat an excess amount of calories more than my body requires. I will still continue to gain weight regardless of age. Same thing applies to a pig. Most people over feed and feed improper foods yet expect to have a small pig that doesn't grow. It doesn't work that way. You also can't with hold food and keep a pig small. If that was possible every breeder would be producing small pigs and they aren't. If you under feed a pig all you would get is a growing pig with an emaciated body. You would see ribs, a raised spine, sunken in hips, loose skin, and a protruding back end. You wouldn't see a perfectly proportioned small pig like I am showing.

If a breeder guarantees a weight do not buy from them. As stated above that is impossible to guarantee a weight of an animal. Only a projected weight can be determined. Lastly, don’t believe everything you read online. There are a lot of jealous breeders that post lies in hopes to ruin other breeders reputations so they can take all the business. Always research the actual breeder yourself versus going by what you heard. I have over 10 thousand pictures on my page of pigs ranging in age from a piglet to over 10 years old. I have over 6 thousand videos. Almost 90% of my pics posted are sent in from actual customers owning my pigs. I have over 2 years of scale pics posted of a pig I kept from my own breeders. I also have a 34 minute video of my breeders. I have provided all the evidence I can possibly do to show Miniature Pigs exist. All someone has to do is hit the photos tab on my page and look. I have the smallest class size pig there is. I hope that shows my pigs are worth waiting for.

My farm has been inspected countless times. I was told I had the cleanest farm and best conditioned pigs they have ever seen. If I was a pig mill I would have been shut down immediately. I sell a piglet cleared for sale by one of the top Exotic Vets in Arizona. Unfortunately after the sale I will most likely never see the piglet again. Feed amount and proper care is on the owner. Do I have a perfect track record with all customers? No, I don’t because I don’t agree with feeding pigs cake and ice cream and all the salty foods I see on Instagram for a like. It’s extremely dangerous. I feed animals like they should per the feed manufacturer’s instructions and I have never had a sick pig on my farm. All my adults even my retired breeders are here on my property. They are all healthy and still small. Please take a look for yourself. I am now finally getting caught up with my waiting list so my wait time won’t be as long.
