Attention procrastinators!! We've had a cancellation in our Semi-Private Adolescent & Adult 101 tomorrow evening, so take advantage of this last minute opening!

This is a 4 week semi-private course, which means there will be only 2 dogs in the class! This will allow for plenty of individual focus on each dog while we practice calm sits and downs, loose leash walking, coming when called, stay, and overall self-control.

Our rally practice group finished another round of classes. What fun we had fine-tuning our heel work, direction changes, stays and recalls. Congrats to Natayem the Siberian Husky, Maggie the Australian Shepherd, Millie the spaniel mix, and Bruno the pitty mix! Great job, everyone!

When we first met Zena she did not allow her mom to wipe her off, They had no way to safely evacuate her from the house in an emergency and her vet did not have a way to safely sedate her. Her mom put in so much work and has accomplished all those goals! And now she’s adding new goals to her list!

Adorable Hobbs (and his happy tail) displays his anxiety with barking among other behaviors. Understanding the reason for the vocalization is important to finding a solution.

Our Intro to Rally class was such a blast! These pups learned a fun new sport and polished up their obedience skills for real- life situations. Congrats to Bruno the pitty mix, Natayem the Siberian Husky, Tater Tot the corgi, Millie the silken windhound mix, and all of their wonderful people on graduation! Amy had so much fun sharing her favorite sport with you.

Dulce is very worried about veterinary care. So much so that her vet was not able to get a blood sample
on her the last visit. Staying up to date on heartworm testing and blood work is an important part of helping our dogs live long and happy lives.
Dulce and her mom have been working so hard and this week it all paid off! Dulce happily ate a chunk of cheese while blood was drawn from her jugular vein and munched on chicken while she was given her vaccines! We could not be more proud of this amazing girl!

Our Intro to Rally class is starting this Saturday in Eastown! Come explore a fun way to build your obedience skills and handler focus in a relaxed, warm, and welcoming space.

Rally Obedience is an accessible sport which works to maintain a fun environment, while enabling a dog and handler to demonstrate practical obedience-related skills.
In competition, the dog and handler work together as they navigate through a course with 10 to 20 different signs. In our intro class, we'l introduce novice level signs and skills, and will be navigating a simple course by the end of the class.

This class is taught by Amy Townsend, LVT FDM LMT. Amy has successfully competed in AKC Rally at the advanced level with her previous dog, and is currently titling two dogs in UKC and CWAGS rally. It's her favorite sport, AND her favorite way to teach practical obedience skills to pups and their people.
