Looking for a Loving Home for This Sweet Pup

Is anyone in Arizona looking to add a loving companion to their family? This sweet boy’s story is absolutely heartbreaking, and he deserves a second chance at a happy life.

We have a standard poodle and a golden doodle, and I can personally say these breeds are some of the most gentle and loving companions you could ever ask for.

Koda is a 2-year-old, energetic black Labradoodle who's eager to find his forever home. While he's a sweet and playful dog, he's had a challenging start to life, living as an outdoor only dog and needs a patient and understanding owner.

Koda is a high-energy pup and will need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, as well as consistent training and socialization. A breed-savvy owner who's willing to put in the time and effort will be crucial for Koda's success.

Koda can be a bit nervous when first meeting other dogs, especially in a group environment like dog parks. However, he did show that he knows how to give a proper correction when asking other dogs for space. He'll need a slow and gradual introduction to new canine companions.

Koda is a smart boy who, with the right guidance and support, can become a wonderful companion.

Adoption Process:

Interested parties:
Must visit PACC before the 5:00 PM December 12, 2024, deadline to meet with an adoption counselor who will go over notes and then introduce you to ensure that it’s a good fit.

Are encouraged to reach out to a rescue group ASAP (even before coming to PACC), to start the rescue approval process. Have the rescue contact PACC at [email protected] if approved to pull.

Collaboration with Rescue Groups:
Rescue groups are encouraged to reach out to PACC early if they are able to pull this animal into their rescue (and what requirements they would have: interested adoptive party, alteration etc.)

If an IP has not already contacted a rescue, PACC will notify all partnered rescue groups of an interested party and request their assistance.

Rescue groups are encouraged to start their adoption process with any interested parties who have contacted them directly and email PACC at [email protected].

Please note that it is ultimately up to the rescue group's discretion to decide whether to proceed with adoption. Partnered Rescue Groups can pull any dogs on Rescue Only Deadline at any time without an interested party.

These two sweet poodles were brought to PACC recently, and they’re looking for their way back home. Both are males—one is 4 years old and the other is 2 years old. They were found and brought in on October 18, 2024, and are currently being cared for at Kennel D179. If anyone recognizes them or knows their owners, please help spread the word so these beautiful dogs can be reunited with their family. Let’s get them back home! ❤️🐩

Dear friends,
Our beloved Uncle Chuck is relocating out of the country and is sadly unable to take his wonderful dog with him. We're seeking a loving home for his 6-year-old Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, who just turned 6 on May 25, 2018.
Here's a bit about him:
Name: Hunter
Age: 6 years
Weight: 33 lbs
-Color: Cream coloured
-Personality: Very affectionate, but a bit wary of strangers in the house. He gets along with other dogs but would likely thrive best as the only dog in the home.
- Special Needs: Hunter has been on Prozac for the past 18 months, which has helped him become much calmer and more content.

Please note that he's best suited for a home without young children.

I'm happy to announce that this beautiful boy found a forever home the same day I posted, adopted by one of our AZ Poodle family members who previously adopted a poodle from us a few years ago. They wanted to name their new poodle after an Arizona town and ultimately chose Jerome, although they had also considered Prescott. To their surprise, when they met this poodle, they knew it was meant to be—his name was Prescott! He's doing great and thriving in his new home! ❤️🐩
I want to clarify that this beautiful two-year-old Standard Poodle up for adoption is not one of the AZ Poodles I breed.
