We are changing things up for our group class program, Levels. Starting Jan 11, Level 5 will be a fun class for various sports (rally, scentwork, trick dog, dock diving, and more) Level 1 will be a full training class vs being our intro. Intros will be done a bit different, but will not affect those currently enrolled. This is our WILDLY popular, fun and effective class for training basic to advanced on leash obedience, manners both in the home and in public, and more.

Hey friends! I received a very upsetting call. Please understand, I will not, under any circumstances, tell the DOT/Open Doors that I’ve trained your dog to be a fully trained service dog unless you’ve finished my full Service Dog program. I was just hung up on because I said my program would be a minimum 1-2 years (dog has gone through previous training, not with me…) before I would be comfortable saying the dog is a fully trained service dog. Sorry, not sorry, I am not a good fit. I will not assist you in breaking laws. If that was you, I hope you get the help you need. Please be a little nicer to the next trainer you speak with.

Introducing Bennie!

Bennie is in for multiple charges, including reactivity, dog aggression, door bolting, leash pulling, bad manners and more. He’s recently adopted, but has given his new owner, an elderly retired firefighter, a run for his money (and several stitches to his face…) We offered to take Bennie in at no charge, so his sweet owner can safely keep this boy. We can see how much he loves his dog.

This video is to show a before of some of his bad behavior - this is only a small inkling of the reactivity he has towards dogs. He has gotten away and attacked another dog. While we cannot make him enjoy the presence of other dogs, we can help to make him neutral, safe for his owner to walk, and not commit a breaking and exiting of the home to batter another dog. We plan to show you most of his training, small bits a day, so you can see how we work with dogs like Bennie.
