First show!! .85 jumpers.

Fun with track babies ar Fox Hill!! As always with horses, the day did not go as planned. Remember the rule that whatever height you are jumping at home- go lower at the show… especially the very first show ever…well I broke that being lazy and wanting to show from 9-3. We missed the schooling… jumps were shiny and beautiful with lots to look at and some BIG horsey eyes were gained. Everyone finished well and confident but it wasn’t smooth or pretty. Boo started out very backed off and over jumping… Luca while very brave and couldn’t give a care about the jumps, sort of forgot how to manage his pieces and parts and Nemo totally checked out and lost all his marbles. So then we ended up staying way past 3 to school the .75s with Nemo who finished great at that height.

Order of the Day aka Luca has had some big life changes and is now officially a GELDING (he had no idea he was a stallion)… which makes him ready for his new human!!
5 yrs old, 16.3 hh.

Stoic sort of dude!! Un-reactive, brave and fun. Has a change and jumping around 2’9”-3’. Played in the cross country field.

With so much chrome and presence you will stand out in any ring!!

Encanto aka Boo is ready!! Come see this nicely restarted OTTB with lots of chrome. Jumping 2’6 courses, has a change but not actively schooling them… A bit on the petite size about 16hh but has a huge step and easily makes the lines. While very good not a beginner ride or “I want my kid to grow with him” kinda dude. Think chestnut spice that needs a confident ride but nothing scary or dangerous (I let me daughter ride him so there is that.)

No vices, lives out well and tends to be the top dog.

Fun prospect to take any direction. Has played out on my cross country jumps etc..

aka Luca
I am just off the track and figuring out life!! I love the pasture and the free choice hay here as well as my new friend Nemo. I get to spend the winter gaining weight and learning how to be a Hunter/Jumper and will be ready for my own person this spring. I already hack out by myself and have started trotting in and cantering out small lines…its really different than the track life…

Everyone is telling me how good I am and that I have such good manners.

Look for more pictures and videos of me in the future.

They really don’t come quieter and easier than this one!
Soft, quiet and slow with a great rhythm. Nice slow jump with good bascule. Auto-changes. Has been to Omaha and Estes Park and lightly shown in the 2’6-2’9” hunters. Minimal prep and schooling required as is not spooky or fresh (I’ve never had to lunge it. Travels well with no vices. Hacks out in the field and jumps the small logs around the property. Sound with solid feet!

This is a pretty special horse!! Just under 20🦄🦄🦄.

5 yr old Paint/TB/Andalusian/Fresian… yes kinda a mutt :)
16 hh but big bodied with plenty of step.
Super ”groovy” young horse!! Dressage background and just started jumping. Very brave and wants to please. Eventers should definitely check this one out. Kind and sweet. Hasn’t shown any naughties other than the occasional baby moments so obviously not for the beginner. Spent 2 weeks in Estes in the .75 and .85 jumper rings. Played around in the hunter ring jumping all the flowers. Has jumped around in the field at home. Loves water!!

Nice 5 year old TB Gelding, 16.2 hh.

Easy going, safe and fun. No vices or naughties. Not for the beginner (he’s 5 and an OTTB) but suitable for an intermediate rider with a trainer. The worst he does is get a little ”tracky” and and jiggy. Estes was his first show EVER and he marched around the .75 and schooled in the hunter ring WITH a kid from our barn. Starting to offer lead changes.

Sheldon- 5yr old 16.2 hh OTTB! Purchased last fall and then due to my schedule and weather has had a quiet winter. Finally in full work and looking for a partner!! Fun and and full of personality! Does not seem to have any naughty behavior (I let my 14 yr old ride him) but can get quick/nervous so needs an intermediate rider. $6500 obo... motivated to sell!!
