We are happy to report that little Wolfie is settling in at the house! 🥰 We see most dogs go through a stage of depression after losing their home.
Thank you for all of your wonderful well wishes for Ali! She is back at home and doing well! 😇
We have one resident who is not so nice with sharing toys. She went for a car ride tonight, so the other kids were able to have play time tonight. ;-)
Louie takes a bit to gain your trust, but once he does he will be your best buddy. We know this whole-heartedly. We have had numerous interested adopters but Louie doesn’t always make a best first impression. 😅 He is ready for that special someone that takes a chance. You will be grateful! 😇
Last one to the play yard is a rotten egg! 😜
Stan is one of the most severe fear cases that we have ever worked with. It’s heartwarming when we see him acting brave and trying out new things! 🥰
Buddy Jones may nap a lot throughout the day, but he’s a frisky little dude in the mornings. 😂
So happy to have some sunshine!! 😎🌞
The kids enjoyed their yard time before the rain! We are so fortunate to have such a beautiful setting for everyone. ❣️
Remembering Shadow
Some who serve have paws and fur. Remembering Shadow ...
Super Max! Getting a good run in before the rain. 😇
Spring weather puts a pep in the step of our seniors! 💕
Plenty of napping spots but there are always a few that decide to use a potty pad as a blanket! 😂
Oh Piper! 😍 Make sure you have the volume on!! 😂
Thank you Volume One and everyone in the Chippewa Valley! First place again for Favorite Local Non-Profit and 3rd place for Best Place to Volunteer! #soexcited #WeAreHonored
Dog Days of December
Since opening in April 2010 through the beginning of 2023, Bob's House for Dogs has helped more than 800 dogs. During December, we shared just a handful of those amazing animals and their stories from over the years. In case you missed the daily posts, here is a video recap that includes them all. As we head into a new year, Bob's House will continue to help primarily senior and special-needs dogs - and one days cats, and we will continue to share their journeys with you. Happy New Year!

Bridget Coit and her family support Bob's House for Dogs Unleash a Legacy campaign, which was launched in October to raise funds for a new building to allow the nonprofit to better care for the senior and special-needs dogs and extend that care to senior and special-needs cats.
