These brothers haven't even shed yet and look at that yellow. They are going to be unbelievable. Think I edited the photos for color? Think again! The only thing I did was crop and label them.

A small clutch, but a beautiful one nonetheless. After the first two non-Toffees pipped we began worrying the genetics on the sire were wrong. Thankfully, our fears were assuaged with the last pip, the Arctic Toffee.

There's always something every season that's a little disappointing. I guess if it's a matter of not proving out a possible het we're still having a pretty good season. We really hoped to get some sables, but at least now we know.

Our next clutch in line was a small one with just these two babies. Still, we can't complain about the genetics. Admittedly, this was a pairing just to make sure that the male that we have tried breeding for a few years now was a viable breeder. It's nice to get results like this.

Our next clutch was from Daffodil (Lemon Ghost Conda Het Albino) x Aurican (our best Lemon Ghost Woma Court Gaverth Line). There are some really nice ones in here and so yellow already!

Most people don't realize we keep a pair of these lovely snakes. Hopefully we'll have some luck with them in the coming years, assuming Andy can be convinced to hold onto them. XD Phrynonax poecilonotus, also known as the Neotropical Bird Eating Snake, and the Puffing Snake. Very cool snakes. This girl is chilling in her basking spot while in shed in her new tank (for now- it's a test location).

We have a few snakes from last season and the year prior that are PET ONLY animals that are available. These are animals that have been eating and growing incredibly well with no difficulty, but we found small deformities with them that prevent us from being willing to sell them or breed them. At their ages we find it a cruel concept to euthanize them as they would be perfect additions to any family looking for a wonderful hognose pet. Please message me if interested.

Photo is a painting I have done and in this case is just being used for attention.

2 inch long eggs from a first-time, small female Western Hognose snake. Yes, I said Western Hognose. Just insane. Yes, she is still alive. Lol. We're really curious about the size of these babies. Should be pipping any day now.

While it's nothing real special, this year is the first year of producing animals with guaranteed pink pastel genetics, despite working with the morph since the very first year we started. Unfortunately, they're all 100% hets, but that's okay. We're happy to finally be making headway on this project.

Hognose aren't the only babies hatching here at Ectotherm Empire. Last week I pulled two more Phelsuma guimbeaui from my hatching tank and four crested geckos and today two Phelsuma laticauda. Yeah, it's busy around here. Lol.
