Meet Miss "Millie!" She is a Bassett Hound puppy. A couple of fun Bassett facts for you: Bassett Hounds are excellent tracking dogs, and their short legs help to keep their nose closer to the ground to track scents. It is believed that their long, pendulous ears help to "waft" or lift the scent off the ground to their nose. ❤❤❤

This sweet little baby belongs to Tori, one of our veterinary assistants. Crookshanks was an orphaned rescue baby and was lovingly and patiently bottle fed until she was old enough to eat solid food. She is a cutie pie and spoiled rotten already!❤🐈

Say hello to sweet little "Strawberry!" Her Mom knew she was nervous to take a ride to the "vet" so she brought along her favorite little hut inside her carrier for her to settle into to feel more comfortable and less anxious and afraid. Notice her ears are straight up and forward, and how comfortable she looks. The more comfortable we can make them, the more positive the experience. ❤❤❤

We were super excited to meet Andrew and his beautiful new kitten this past week! He loves her dearly and when his Mom told him he could name her whatever he wanted, he proudly stated her name was "Fishing Pole," after his favorite birthday present! Of course, Mom gave in, and said welcome to the family, "Fishing Pole!"🐟🎣🐱

Meet baby Huckleberry! He is a ladies man and has never met a stranger! Fall is Parvo season -- be sure to keep your pets up to date on their boosters -- especially puppies! Parvo is a contagious canine virus that can be life threatening, but is easily preventable with vaccinations. It typically affects young dogs but adult dogs can be infected as well. You brightened our day with your visit, Huckleberry!❤😎❤

The puppies have taken their first road trip. We all loaded up for a ride across town to Creekside Animal Hospital. Dr Elias and her staff spent lots of time completing a thorough assessment, giving vaccinations, and of course snuggling the little puppies.
They all checked out with a clean bill of health.
