Been really excited to start being able to do some deer this season but I've got a couple client's deer to post! But these first two were some gorgeous mule deer from Northern Oklahoma and it is always insane to me how big they can really get, even next to a longhorn those antlers can get huge!

Final longhorn for the day and an absolute beast she was! This is my second longest skull I've ever worked with as well with the TTT at 64'' and TH at 76'', but this is one of the few skulls I have pictures for every step of the process so there will be a few more images with this longhorn other than the finished product to show the transition from freshly skinned to fully polished and whitened!

Got some new clients longhorns to post today! But this skull might be my new favorite in terms of color as the horns transition from light brown, silver, and then finally to a deep black, but an incredibly fun skull to work on! But going forward I'm going to be trying to catalogue all of the total horn and tip to tip lengths on the horns, but this skull hits 34.5'' TTT and 71.5'' TH

I know it's been a bit since I've gotten a post in but should have some nice longhorns following this big guy soon here in the next couple days, but this is easily the largest skull I've ever worked with and the largest bull elk I've ever personally seen! Super excited with how well the big guy has turned out and can't wait to get him back with his owner, but hoping for more deer and elk to work on with the coming season!

This'll be a quick combined post of two clients who've recently been finished and I am super happy with both of these skulls! It's insane to me how close the colors are on these two but the Corriente cow, the larger of the two, has some incredible shape and color! Nonetheless, the little guy really has some insane colors as well, and needless to say the smaller horned cattle are few and far between for me so it's always a treat to see people finishing their cattle no matter the horn size!

Got another client skull I am incredible impressed with the coloration that came out of the horns. Going off of the original unsanded horns when I started working on them I had no idea this much color was going to pop on these horns, but I am super happy with how this skull turned out!

Got a lot of skull pictures coming tonight! Gotta finish some of the backlog of images I've needed to post, but the first post for this evening is a set of longhorns turned into Homestead Meats & Processing a few weeks ago, so gorgeous colors on all four of them and some insane length as well! Even one had an insane curve in his skull causing his whole skull to be slightly bent, most likely from something genetic or an accident as a calf.

Got a new client skull wrapped up and super happy with the guy! Honestly I don't get to see many skulls with horns on the smaller side but it's always a treat to get to work on the more sentimental skulls, even if the smaller the horns are the more annoying they seem to be to wrap lol, but again I'm super happy with how this guy came out and can't wait to finish up the next batch!

Got something a bit different than the usual cattle, goat or ram today, but got my first order of cervids done and I absolutely love all of them! All of these were pretty special for their owner especially with the elk bull in these pictures being their first white elk bull, which is why the antlers are so much lighter than the typical brown tints most elk antlers have, nonetheless a lot of these were dead heads which is where the much lighter coloration for the antlers on the regular deer are appearing. But I'm absolutely excited for deer season coming up so hoping to get some more to work on soon!
