Benny's PET DEPOT is a trusted, independent specialty pet store located in the Windsor Park Shopping Center in Mechanicsburg, PA. At Benny's, we are about empowering our customers with natural products and accurate information.

We are currently hiring for the position of Retail Sales Associate.

If you are hired, we will teach you a lot, but what we need you to already have is:

*A passion for excellent customer service and overall well-being of pets.
*At least 1-2 years of previous retail experience.
The willingness to be educated about the products and services we offer at Benny's.
*The ability to work a flexible schedule, must be available Saturdays.
*Time management and organizational skills.
*Proven written and verbal communication skills.
*Basic math skills.
*A friendly and energetic personality.
*High School Degree or equivalent.
*Good personal hygiene and general cleanliness

Responsibilities are as follows:

*Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
*Welcome customers to the store, assess their needs, and answer their questions.
*"Go the extra mile" to drive sales.
*Remain knowledgeable on the products offered.
*Cross sell products.
*Suggest ways to improve sales.
*Process POS purchases.

This position is very active and requires standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, lifting, kneeling, and climbing ladders. You must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. You must be comfortable around all animals.
