18yr old APHA Mare

Can’t say enough good things about this horse. One of the best minded horses. I and a young teenager have been riding her and Sasha is happy to try whatever with whoever.

She’s been through the timber, pond, and pasture with cattle in sight. I have had her riding out alone and with others.

She is still green but has been extremely easy to get along with and would make a great project for a trail rider. She isn’t performance sound due to an old wire cut when she was young. She feels great out on the trails and can walk, trot, lope just fine (it’s smooth!)

I have video of both wtl in arena and trail.

Collectively Sasha and Ginger probably have 5 trail/pasture rides total in their lives and they have been some of the easiest horses I’ve taken out.

But really my favorite part of the ride was when she stretched her neck and yawned as I climbed in the saddle. That’s a horses that’s building trust ❤️

With the amount of rain we received YOUTH LESSONS will be CANCELED. Arena ground will not be ready in time. Thankful for the rain but but hopefully we’ll have better timing for next month lessons.

June Openings
June Openings

I have a couple 60 day openings in June. Restarts, colt starting, problems, fine tuning.

Weekend shenanigans at a local horse show with Q and Keegan. Keegan took care of a teenager riding in her first show. Proud of them both ❤️

I had some company to ride with today! We helped a bucker relax into his lope, colt starting, and show prep. Some of the others got some pasture riding and a job being a snub horse so I won’t be so sore in the morning lol

Keegan has picked up on tracking super fast. I hung the reins on the horn and just let him go to see what he’d do 🤣 he had one cow lesson about a month ago. Keegan is still looking for a new 🏠

Jolene just keeps getting better and happier ❤️ it’s no fun when a horse resist everything you ask of it.

Our Story

It all started with a big troubled paint named Red and the search for a better way to fix his "problems". Red taught me it wasn't about force, it was about giving,the receiving just falls into place and trust is built.
