Winding Waters Yorkies Yorkshire Terrier puppies bred for quality, health, conformation and breed standard. I don't breed Our breeding program is small and our litters are planned.

We breed only to the AKC written breed standard. We test our breeding stock for PLL, PRA-PCRA, and DM as well as OFA testing for luxating patellas. NONE of our dogs have ever test positive for these three diseases and all our dogs have 0/0 patellas. For those that are not familiar, that means they have very strong knees. We sell our pups to families all across the US that have applied and been app

roved through our Good Dog Reputable breeder application process. Our pets are sold on a spay/neuter contract. This is NON-NEGOTIABLE. We do this to ensure the preservation of our lines as well as to prevent 'backyard' breeding using our lines. We do not promote this practice and will not support it in any way. As we do not support the breeding of the 'designer sizes and rare colors'. These are typically bred by those not truly interested in preserving our breed standard and only breeding to line their pockets. These lines could also be untested and riddled with health issues as Yorkies were never intended to be anything other than dark steel blue and tan as adults. Puppies are born Black and Tan. Not chocolate, pearl, or any other shade or variation. We will NEVER purposefully breed to achieve any of these.
