🎉ADOPTION ANNOUNCEMENT🎉 Handsome 25-yr-old Roy caught Kathryn's eye to be a suitable pal for her 31-yr-old Morgan ironically also named Roy! Now named Chester, this gentle older gentleman will spend his remaining years in Tijeras hanging out with the other Roy who recently lost his companion. Chester will certainly enjoy getting scratches and much attention from Kathryn and her grandkids. 🥰 Once again, we're so thankful for those who know the importance of companion equines.🐴

We can't think of a better representative for than Ezra. 💕🐴 Few horses have demonstrated as much heart as this handsome fellow has in his short lifetime. Seven-year-old Ezra (track name All Star Justice) certainly didn’t get justice for all the grit and determination he proved on the track. He was sadly seized this summer by the NM Livestock Board due to severe neglect and starvation. With his strong will and a healthy consistent diet, Ezra has almost reached an ideal weight and has begun ground training to build back his muscles. It’s a mystery how he ended up in such poor condition after winning $100,100 in 33 races across the country, but’s he’s safe now and we are excited to see the bright new future in store for him. Though he’s been ridden on the track, our trainers will assess his saddle skills once he has more time to strengthen his weak topline/back. Check out our latest arrival we appropriately named Mini Cooper! This little tater tot is a two-year-old stud muffin with the personality to match. She was seeking a gentle companion for her senior donkey, Burrito, because her elderly horse passed away recently. The two equines have already become instant pals! 🥰 We're so grateful for those who recognize the importance of companions.🐴

PLEASE SHARE! Who's looking for a cute bay gelding to adopt as a fun trail or arena riding partner? Meet Sosa, a 3-yr-old mustang-type bay who came to us as an owner surrender due to lacking time to finish his training. Sosa transitions through all three gaits well (walk/trot/canter) and stops easily. He also backs well and is learning how to better yield to the leg. He can be a bit flinchy, but this is primarily due to his lack of experiences. More time under saddle will certainly build his confidence.
