Ella Bella on a beautiful summer evening. She would love to enjoy the splendor in the grass…with you!
Update, Saturday afternoon: Ella Bella has found her forever family!
EB will be flying cross country to join her new humans, including her sister, who is also named Ella! How cute is that.
I'm so pleased that 3 of the 5 puppies in this litter are joining families who already have Mountain Park pups! We're very thankful for the Millers, the Ehlens and the McCulloughs, as well as all the other repeat Mountain Park family members.
Ella” (also known as “my Ella Bella”) is a beautiful, thoughtful, gentle little girl. Early on, I thought she was a little shy, but I’ve since come to realize that she just likes to observe a situation before happily interacting with very nice people! She is 100% comfortable with her littermates and displays a moderate energy level- neither busy nor lethargic. As Baby Bear would say, she’s “just right”.
She is quite affectionate and interested in people. She seems to love being tucked under a chin for a nice little snuggle! She looooves other dogs, but she is also very good at playing independently. She really enjoys tottering around outside, exploring in the garden and playing with toys. Today, she discovered our backyard blueberry bushes and helped herself to a little snack🫐
Ella is quite adaptable when she encounters different environments. She handled her visit to Newberg Vet today with no issue! I wouldn’t describe her as bombproof (yet!)- she will blossom with encouragement and intentional early socialization. She should thrive in an adult household or one with thoughtful older kids or teens, but I think she would likely be overwhelmed by busy young children. Also, she might not be as happy in a home with lots of guests in and out of the house or frequent entertaining. She would be perfect for someone who works remotely and wants a companion who won’t be demanding or pushy during Zoom calls! Ella can easily handle time by herself in age-appropriate increments.
She would very much enjoy being part of a
It’s a very special day today🎂🐾🥳
It’s Luca’s 5th birthday!!
Many of you know about Luca, diabetic alert partner for my daughter, Anna Louise. This is the sweet moment from June 2019 when she arrived home from college in Indiana to meet her puppy for the first time🥰
We wanted AL to have an extra layer of safety as she entered adulthood and began living on her own. With that in mind, we bred a litter where we hoped there would be two or three male pups to choose from. I narrowed it down to two prospects and gave Anna the final say. Enter Luca! The rest is history.
Luca has lived in Indiana, Oregon, and now Rochester, NY. Not many pups can say they spent some of their formative years in a sorority house! He is a beloved family member- he has kept Anna Louise safe countless times by detecting dangerous low blood sugars, even when state of the art medical tech devices can’t.
So, hats off to our Luca Bear- happiest of birthdays to you!
A special heartfelt thank you to Stefani at Ocean State Labradoodles for her Tucker’s role as papa for Luca and his brothers and sisters. He made such good babies!
It’s Gotcha Day! Welcome to the MPL family, Steve!!
Cleaning out the closets... which is real and which is stuffed?
Monday field trip! Nellie and the Broadway Babies litter hanging out by the fire on a snowy (ha!) day at the Labradoodle House.
Sophie’s babies are so cute, I can’t handle it! I love hearing Teri’s “morning voice”, wishing someone woke me up with that much sweetness!
You know our motto....spoiling them early, just for you😊
Ah, bittersweet. Just a few short hours before we head to the airport with four of these cuties. Three will be headed to New York, where they will be the newest members of our MPL East family, and little Sunny is winging to Atlanta, where she will join her big brother, Jefferson, another MPL pup! We love these babies to pieces, always understanding that we get the privilege of raising them for the first 8 weeks, then sending them with love to their forever families.
And people ask, “Do you ever get tired of what you do?”
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
