We try to get puppies into the rain as much as possible. It’s true that many don’t like it at first. However, they eventually learn to have fun, play and take care of business 🚽.

🐶Many animals are SOOTHED by music. Cowboys sang to their cows. Snake charmers play flutes. I actually sang my horse to sleep once. He drooled. In fact there has been quite a bit of RESEARCH on cats, dogs, pigs, and more. They LOVE MUSIC. According to one study, dogs prefer reggae and soft rock over classical music. If your puppy can’t settle down, TRY PLAYING MUSIC. I can tell you it works. 🐶FIND IT starts like this but can be EXPANDED so much. You can teach them how to find various items, toys, and PEOPLE!! So much fun. 😀

I’m serious😀. This can be a game changer. A young, teething puppy is looking to SOOTH its gums. A water bottle incased in a sock is LOVED by many puppies. The sock keeps puppy from ingesting any plastic BUT the water bottle seems to have THE PERFECT CHEW💚💚. Of course, if it’s an aggressive chewer this may not work. An “ALWAYS” : Let Puppies Smell Everything🐶. Dogs that explore life with their sense of SMELL FIRST and foremost are more RELAXED and less fearful of new things. I allow them to smell EVERYTHING they want to put their snoots in.

A few facts:
🐶The “GO POTTY” command is very helpful!
🐶Many puppies don’t like wet grass, but it’s NONNEGOTIABLE.
🐶Puppies quickly learn words or phrases if used CONSISTENTLY ie. “Outside” “Inside” “Kennel” “Go Potty” “Leave It” “Up”
🐶A ROUTINE/SCHEDULE is helpful when they are young. As they develop and learn basic expectations, you can be more flexible.
🐶If you want puppy to have Good Manners inside, let them expend their energy OUTSIDE.
