Meet Nathan, our Wisconsin Pet Care Specialist.

He has 9 years of experience and is the founder of New Pet Sitting.

“I began my pet care journey when I was 14 years old in Simpsonville, SC, as I was reaching the end of my freshman year of high school. I made my own business cards, under the name ‘Nathan’s Pet Sitting’, bought a bunch of small plastic bags, put the business cards in, and then tossed them from my golf cart onto the driveways of homes in my neighborhood. I was hoping that at least one neighbor would find a business card and contact me for a job opportunity. Little did I know only a few days later, I would have my very first pet sitting booking, ever!

Fast-forward from 2014 to 2020, I started expanding my business to reach an online audience through Google, Yelp, and Nextdoor, and managed to serve 10 counties within the upstate / Greenville area of South Carolina while in college at Clemson University.

In December of 2023, I graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in Packaging Science and minor in Computer Science, and I am continuing my pet sitting business now that I have relocated to Madison, Wisconsin for a Design Engineer job (as of January 2024). My friend and outstanding veterinarian-tech, Diana, will be taking up any remaining business in South Carolina. Because of her addition to my team, we are now called ‘New Pet Sitting’.

My mission is to connect with all animals that I care for on a deep level, and help form connections that will positively impact their lives, and the lives of you, their owners. She has 9 years of experience and is Animal CPR-Certified.

“Hi there! I’m a 23-year-old pre-veterinary student pursuing my Master’s in Animal and Veterinary Science at Clemson University. In May 2023, I received my bachelor’s degree in Animal Veterinary Science from the same institution. Working in an emergency veterinary clinic has provided me with a deep understanding of animal care, and I possess the expertise to cater to your pets’ needs.

I’m proficient in administering oral, injectable, and topical medications, and I’m certified in animal CPR. My extensive experience from working in different animal hospitals has equipped me with the necessary skills to ensure your pets’ safety and well-being. My life’s ambition is to attend veterinary school and become a devoted veterinarian. I’m passionate about animals, and my furry family includes Mango, my Golden Retriever, and Maple, my adorable cat.

As a reliable Pet Care Specialist, I offer trustworthy services, and your pets will receive the same love and attention that I provide to my own pets.”
