Fear Free Greenbriar

Did you know Greenbriar has Fear Free Certified staff members on our team? The Fear Free Certification was developed to help prevent fear and anxiety in pets during veterinary visits. It has also been expanded to include teaching Fear Free techniques in a boarding and day camp setting. Utilization of Fear Free methods leads to the reduction or elimination of anxiety triggers, by creating an experience that rewards your pet with treats, praise and love. In turn this promote calm and happy patients that are willing to accept treatment, the reduction of fear, a safer working environment for staff, and overall more stress-free care. Gus and Augustine!

Congratulations to Gus and Augustine for graduating from training side-by-side! Gus is a super smart Aussie with an amazing temperament and absolutely loves people. He is going to use his beautiful heart and brain, along with his sharpened skills, to train to join his mom as a therapy dog in the pediatric center of the hospital she works in. We love this kind family and have so enjoyed the opportunity to train both Gus and his brother Max. Augustine is the new rescue brother of long-time Greenbriar campers Mocha and Rico! His family has gone so far out of their way to support Augustine in his arduous journey from the difficult environment he came from to being a bright and confident pup mastering both basic and advanced cues in his training. We love you guys! We couldn't be prouder. Keep up the great work, you two!

Flynn Graduation

Flynn has been a Greenbriar regular since he was just a little pup and recently graduated from Day School with flying colors. He starts every day by getting his Zoomies out but quickly gets down to work building his confidence and obedience skills. With Dad reinforcing good behaviors at home, Flynn has grown into the bestest boy. Congratulations, Flynn! 🐶💕🏆
