Yerington Animal Protection Society Animal Welfare, concentrating on spay/meuter programs In 2010, YAPS provided 50% vouchers for 298 pets, alterd 101 feral cats, and 31 shelter dogs.

In 2009, YAPS provided 50% vouchers for 229 pets, 44 feral cats, and 27 shelter dogs. Overhead and opertaing costs are 4%, 96% of every dollar earned goes directly into the various programs provided.
