Happy Halloween from WAIF! Our shelter dogs got a special Halloween treat today 🎃
Coupeville Shelter Kittens 10/7/24
Are you ready for some kitten shenanigans? We have four minutes of cute kitten video that includes two different litters of kittens available for adoption at WAIF’s Coupeville shelter. The first litter of kittens is reacting to a string toy. With the second litter of kittens, we tossed in a handful of new toys for them to play with. We hope you enjoy the video! Please give us a call at (360) 678-8901 if you have any questions. Find more information about WAIF and the animals in our care at Learn more at https://waifanimals.org/.
PJ 9/30/24
Here is a two-minute video we put together of PJ as he spent some time in the shelter office this afternoon. He loves petting and belly rubs, eating treats, and just being around people. PJ knows how to sit and notice how gentle he is about taking treats from a hand. We believe he would prefer a home where he will be with his people most of the time. Wow! In just a couple days, four of our five Pomeranian mix puppies have gone home! Frosty, the smallest of her siblings, is the last one left. She has watched all her siblings find their forever families—now let's make it happen for her!
If you are interested in adopting this little sweetheart, review our adoption guidelines at waifanimals.org/adopt-a-pet/adoption-guidelines.

Tank 9/17/24
We hope you enjoy this video of Tank, the big sleek 1 ½ year old Doberman/Dogo Argentino mix who is now ready for a loving new home. Tank was badly injured late last winter after being hit by a car. The community came together with generous donations to make sure he got the surgery and other care he needed to evaluate and treat those injuries. He spent time in foster care as he recuperated and is now ready for a new start. Learn more about Tank on his webpage at https://waifanimals.org/dog/tank/. Please give us a call at (360) 678-8901 if you have questions about him.

This two-year-old German shepherd mix is a friendly pup who loves to be with people and also loves to run and play. He’s an energetic pup who is also pretty nicely mannered. Please give us a call at (360) 678-8901 if you have any questions about him. Find more information at https://waifanimals.org/dog/charleston/.
Coupeville Shelter Kittens 8/5/24
Here are a few video clips of some of the Coupeville shelter’s kittens having a lot of fun with a feather toy. When they finished playing with that, in a room full of cat toys, they decided the most fun thing to play with was our camera! After we finished filming but before they finished playing, one of them accidentally jumped into their water bowl and got all wet. In spite of that little mishap, a fun time was had by all! Please give us a call if you have any questions. Our phone number is (360) 678-8901. Learn more about WAIF and the animals in our care at https://waifanimals.org/.

That's Grimbolde with the beautiful white coat and Robert with typical husky good looks. Please give us a call at (360) 678-8901 if you have any questions. Jules 6-10-24
Believed to be a Rottweiler/pitbull mix, Jules is only about a year old. This friendly girl has a lot of youthful playful energy and she loves to play fetch! After chasing the ball for a while, she is ready to go for a dip in the little wading pool in the play yard. Here is video to show you what a pretty and playful pup she is. Please give us a call if you have any questions about her. Learn more at https://waifanimals.org/dog/jules/.
Betty and her pups!
On May 25, 2023, Betty (Crocker) gave birth to a large litter of puppies at our shelter. Today, Betty and 7 of her litter of 12 came to the shelter for a quick birthday celebration. Now her pups are a year old and they still remember their mama! We hope you enjoy this video as much as we had fun getting together to celebrate their 1st year milestone! Happy Birthday, you crazy pups!
