Due to a family emergency, I will not be taking new clients right now. My schedule may be changing a bit to help my family when needed as well.

We will have limited services for a time. The water heater on the rig has given up on working. So a new one needs to be put in. Until it is fixed, I can only do nail trims or haircuts as long as the owner can bathe the dog prior to the appointment. Once we are up and running normally all services will be available.

If you are contacting me for information or to book an appointment please state what breed your dog is and how much they weigh. Also, in order to book an appointment I do need your information. I have been getting a lot of people stating they would like to book a time slot and then they are never heard from, even after I have tried a few times. This is a business and I will not hold times.

Finally, have some health answers. I can take on new clients after the 4th of July. Clients must be understanding that I have no guarantee of when or if I will have a sinus infection flare up and need to reschedule. Surgery is probably going to be my best hope in feeling better, and I am at the mercy of waiting to be seen by a surgeon.

Weight limit is 70 lbs. No, more exceptions for new clients. Pushing my body and health is not worth the time. If you have dogs over that limit I will happily refer you to a groomer who can help you.

The nutshell

I started my grooming career as just a bather for a big box store. One year in and I decided to learn how to groom. I was sent to a grooming academy for a month. There I learned the in’s and out’s of grooming. From that moment on I continued to work hard on this new craft. It has been 9 years now that I have been grooming. Looking for a change I investigated mobile grooming. It would be hard to start out on my own and run my own business. But, with the help of family and friends I jumped. I have been doing mobile grooming for 3 years now. It has come with it’s challenges, but I overcame the odds and pushed through. I started in Reno/Sparks and then made a big decision to move to Fernley. That is where I work now. I love what I do and love being with the dog’s all day. It is truly rewarding when you see your work transform a dog and how happy the dog and pet parent are at the end of the day.
