RIDE VERBATIM Ride Verbatim trains by the book! You'll understand a distilled overview of all gymnastic horse training -- with zero opinions, zero omissions, zero additions.

RIDEVERBATIM Curriculum takes the instruction from centuries of horse training and installs it into every moment, every thought, every nerve, every muscle, every yoint***, and every stride of our riding ! PURE. You'll receive the syllabus of the Riding Lessons Course. You'll receive a bibliography by which any item in training and riding can be VERIFIED with certainty. You’ll have basic but solid

understanding of the mechanical aim and the required trained elements in a forward, through-going horse and the ideas that must exist in the basis of a fruitful training program. Because of this: you’ll be able to identify and avoid counterfeit training and stupid riding that's rampant. Perhaps most valuable: you’ll be able to spot riding and training that’s only ‘partly’ right. You’ll permanently know how and where to find the answers to subsequent questions in training from a firm and reliable knowledge foundation. Soon you’ll know a ‘made’ or ‘finished’ horse when you see one. You'll hear & ‘see’ a correct trainer; you'll hear & ‘see’ and know a correct rider...because you'll be one. "There are 2 ways to ride: the right way and the wrong way. Which way do you want to ride?"

it isn't sideways

At some point there was a misunderstanding or misinterpretation of what the masters meant by training the horse laterally. Today you see these gross sideways movements, like the more you get the horse to cross their legs the better. But what the masters meant was YOU TRAIN ONE SIDE AT A TIME. Only then can you work both sides equally together. Going sideways is not the same as bending and strengthening your horse one side at a time.

where how when is 'contact' begun ?

In 1849 Gustav Steinbrecht told us:“The rider should not try to put the load on the hindquarters primarily with his hands. Through forward driving aids, he must cause the hind legs to step more underneath the weight and take on the load themselves… The elevation of the forehand then comes automatically, the more the hindquarters are lowered and bent. This rule is often disregarded, particularly by riders who because their body is too stiff, have dead legs and therefore always tend to overcome this drawback by increased activity of their hands. Since under such riders, the insufficiently stimulated hind legs do not step far enough underneath the load to be truly bend, the activity of their hands is unsuccessful:” Read more on Contact:
