Okay all my people wanting girl dapple dachshunds…..
Looks like the one in the middle will be a chocolate dapple and ones on outer sides will be silver dapples.

Weather is heating up. If your dog overheats DO NOT put cold or ice water over their bodies!!! It will cause their blood vessels to constrict and they can go into shock. You can wet them down slowly with cool or lukewarm water. DO NOT put wet towels over their bodies. It will trap heat. First move them to shade with a fan or AC if possible. Then give them cool, not cold water to drink. Then put cool cloths on their paws only. Then lay the dog on a cool wet towel if possible.
So many dogs die from heat exhaustion every year. Make sure yours has shade and access to cool drinking water. Freezing water bottles and dropping them in your dogs water bowls is a good idea on hot days if they are outside. It keeps the water at a cooler temperature.
Remember they depend on you to care for them.
