Dr. Katherine Goldberg founded Whole Animal Veterinary Geriatrics & Hospice Services with a mission to provide compassionate, individualized care for pets in the comfort of their homes. Dr. Goldberg’s belief in the importance of whole body care rather than symptom-specific treatment is an underlying philosophy of the entire practice. Core values of Whole Animal include: respect for the unique rela

tionship between animals and their caregivers, education for caregivers so they may play an active role in their pet’s wellness, empowerment through options, commitment to personalized, whole body care through all life stages, and belief that humane, dignified end of life care is an integral part of overall wellness. Dr. Goldberg's goal is to work with pets, their people and their primary care veterinarians to expand the options for them in the areas of hospice, palliative, and end of life care. She collaborates with a team of professionals to ensure that her patients receive care that is comprehensive, progressive, and compassionate during this important and tender time.
