Good morning dog lovers! Meet my friend Quincy!
Quincy is roughly 2 years old, and very big! He is looking for a forever home, preferably someone with previous experience with large pit breeds. He is so sweet, and eager to please…he just wants to be loved!
He was surrendered at an early age (6-8 months) and has been bouncing around shelters and foster homes ever since. This means he has had a lack of consistency, and anyone taking him home needs to know that his training regimen needs to be very strict at first, but I assure you he will love it, especially if it means he earns treats 😊
As his dog walker, I’ve learned that he really loves and looks forward to his walks. He goes for 45-60 minute walks every day and responds really well to it. He is also one of the easiest dogs I’ve ever trained to walk by my side, and has shown great improvement in not chasing cars and not lunging for squirrels and birds. He’s extremely smart, so with appropriate training he will only get better, but the lack of training will cause him to think he can do whatever he wants…and he’s very big and strong, so you don’t want that.
