GROUP CLASS STARTING 8/31!!!

Look at this little smarty pants! Not even 3 months old and working her obedience. If she can do this so can your dog!!!

Saturday 8/31 is your day to start achieving goals with your dogs!!! See below!

Our next group class starts 8/31/24. Classes are a lot of fun with us! Registration is now open.

Course is 6 weeks long and meets on Saturdays at 10am. We meet at different locations weekly (weather permitting) for the enrichment and socialization of your pups. We cover all the foundational basics needed.

This course is suggested for pups ok in social situations that are not overly stimulated and easily excitable. Also this is not a course for dogs with any form of aggression towards other dogs/people. For those issues we do offer private training by appointment only.

For health and safety of all Dogs must have completed the following vaccinations to participate:

- [ ] DHLPP
- [ ] BORDATELLA (kennel cough)
- [ ] CIV (canine influenza)

She’s not like the other pups. She stands pretty and strikes her pose. Sophie doesn’t tug while on leash. She struts confidently and gently. Sophie sits patiently and waits for her chicken grilled treats. She doesn’t bark or growl while meeting new furry friends. Sophie runs away from kitties and does not chase them.

Great webinar! They made some newer discoveries in how heat thresholds in working dogs can run higher.

Since it was launched in 2015, our webinar Rethinking Heat Injury in Working Dogs has been viewed 3329 times! It was based on our study that was published in thr Journal of Special Operations Medicine in January 2012, and since its launch we’ve updated it three times (2016, 2019, and 2021) whenever significant new information became available from research. We love happy ending for our clients and their fur babies. Bandit was scared by fireworks over the weekend and dug out of his yard trying to escape them. Today he was finally found after a scary few days of him avoiding anyone who wanted to help. Welcome home bandit!!!!!

Contact your veterinarian now if you need medication for your dogs for the upcoming weeks of fireworks that are a regular occurrence around this time of year. The vet clinic will get inundated so the earlier you jump on it the better because while you cannot control people who set off the fireworks you can help get your pets some relief from the anxiety.
