Missing them so Much
Two of the best
Balto and Homegirl
It’s hard for me to say , imagine or put I to words but part of loving hard is loosing hard , too. In the past 24 hour span , i lost Homegirl and Balto n two seperate incidents. They have been a part of our farm since. We lived back to Boulder and bought this farm 9 years ago. I am heartbroken - and that’s all I can say right now.i was injured as well and my hands pretty mangled so most things I live to do I won’t be able to do. Say a prayer for my sweet babies tonite ! I know they touched a lot of people so I just wanted to let anyone that has loved them know! I hope they are running like puppies and eating ice cream cups. I love you, Balto❤️I love you , Homegirl❤️#heartbreak
Kota’s favorite time of the year ….she loves her baby chicks ❤️
Spring has finally arrived in Colorado and our lavender is gearing up for blooming season ! Full blooms starting first week of July through mid august when we harvest and extract essential oils for all of our farm products! This year we are expanding and increasing our plants by 3 times the amount we currently have !
Kota is still looking for a home ! Message me for more info
My back seat drivers getting a treat at Starbucks today ❤️
Searching for a home for Kota!
Kpta is a G2 King Shepherd and will be four in March . She is spayed and up to date on vaccines and has basic obedience training . She loves small livestock and chickens and would be a great addition to a farm. Loves to run!
She would do best in a home dedicated to her training as an only dog or possibly with another male dog. She does not like Strange people or dogs and is a great guard on our farm letting us know when someone should not be here .
She is not getting along with my other female King who is recovering from a serious injury. Kota has realized her weakness and is vying for alpha spot in our pack which is making Homegirls recovery harder and harder .
Please contact
Me with interest or questions
Thanks
Not the whole farm gang this weekend, but quite a few of them❤️
Homegirl is back to taking ( shorter ) walks with the whole pack ! 8 weeks ago , I didn’t know if this would ever happen again! ❤️❤️moral of the story- don’t give up no matter what anyone tells you…..the largest and most reputable vet hospital in Colorado recommended euthanasia. Because she’s so large and there was no way to know if she’d ever regain function ,they said it would be impossible to care for her , she wasn’t eating or drinking and had no control of her bowels. It hasn’t been easy at all, but she is the best girl and deserved every ounce of this chance that I could give her.
8 weeks after sudden paralysis! She’s a fighter ! love my girl
Donino giving Homegirl a hard time 😂he’s such a joker
Homegirl !!!!! She is working on just being able to get up on her own but as you can see, she’s almost able to walk alone! She needs to regain strength, but I could not be happier at her amazing progress over the month ! This is testament that there is always hope. When one of the “ best “ medical vet schools in our state suggested I euthanize her that day , I took her and we walked right out! I’m exhausted but it’s all been worth it! I love this girl.
Big improvements day after day ! We are almost a month out from Homegirls injury and she improves everyday with lots of work , love and physical therapy!
Heading over to the big farm for the nightly farm run around! Weather was perfect so the dogs enjoyed lots of time running , playing , swimming and relaxing ❤️
My farm helper- at nearly 180 pounds, he really needs his own tractor! He’s always along for the ride !
Always have an animal on the farm to keep me
Company while I’m working! They are all the best companions!
Our minis and dogs are the same size !
They all make great house pets 😂
