It’s hard for me to say , imagine or put I to words but part of loving hard is loosing hard , too. In the past 24 hour span , i lost Homegirl and Balto n two seperate incidents. They have been a part of our farm since. We lived back to Boulder and bought this farm 9 years ago. I am heartbroken - and that’s all I can say right now.i was injured as well and my hands pretty mangled so most things I live to do I won’t be able to do. Say a prayer for my sweet babies tonite ! I know they touched a lot of people so I just wanted to let anyone that has loved them know! I hope they are running like puppies and eating ice cream cups. I love you, Balto❤️I love you , Homegirl❤️
Beautiful remembrances, food, hugs, tears and messages ! I am super grateful for all of my amazing friends ❤️thank you
Hi friends! Posting this guy to see if anyone out there has interest ? A fellow dog lover reached out to me today to see if I can help her find a home for her boy! He isn’t getting along with her other male dog and she thinks he’s be a great in a one dog family ! He will need some training and you can reach out to his owner, Tanya , with any questions! He is not from my line of dogs but has the look of a lot of Homegirls puppies and has a similar genetic makeup ! DETAILS!⬇️⬇️ Redwood

We love our GIVER’R Gloves and Mittens here at the farm and on the slopes!! They are an essential part of farm life both summer and winter using the Four Seasons gloves for cold weather chores and Classic in the summer for dirt digging and weeding. We each have atleast one pair of Frontier mittens for skiing and they are by far the favorite of the family after trying 100’s of different brands amongst our family of 6!

The view the last few days !! We’ve been busy this week❤️and that’s a good thing. Thank you all for supporting our farm, buying our flowers , lavender and wool goods! It’s been an amazing summer and I love hearing how our flowers have made so many people smile ! Family Photo Shoot on the flower field and all around the farm last night with the AMAZING Darcy Kiefel! If you don’t know her and haven’t had a chance to experience her photography, how is the time to book a session with her! ( our flower field has a few weeks left in it if you are looking for the perfect backdrop and we have a few evenings still available to book, too) After all these years of knowing Darcy, I finally got a photo with her myself ,too. Despite the shenanigans of trying to photo animals, kids and lots of people, I’m always super excited to get our photos back and they are always something I will treasure forever as I watch my kids grow up
All kinds of goodies at the farm stand today ! Come and grab some flowers , eggs , honey or a special farm good today…..flowers restocked as we sell out but the eggs are limited addition
Typical Colorado Weather…..hot and sunny to cloudy and rainy to rainbows back to windy and rainy and a 10 degree drop in temps !!! @ or n
Definitely the most fun season on the farm! I’m sad to see it winding down….flowers , bees, grazing animals ,long days and beautiful sunsets.
Scenes from a busy farm day full of family and friends stopping by and sunset in the flower field❤️ #
Tonight’s Sunset ❤️❤️
We just finished cutting flowers and playing around with portrait mode on the iPhone today when another crazy storm came out of nowhere! Also, can you spot the queen bee in the last two photos? She is getting replaced this week because she is older and the huge has become small and weak! # colorado natural
Little Tiara Charm…she definitely doesn’t have a problem walking on in and looking for a snack…some dog food or an apple or banana off the counter !!
Some drone shots of the farm and gardens this year! Giving credit to chris ( and our friend
Kyle that helped plant this year) for his endless work and perfectionism on top of everything else he does to make our garden perfect this year( I’ve taken on the lavender field and all the WEEDS) flowers flowers and more
Flowers on the way!!!!
Someone is super excited about the Nuggets Championship Win!!( we have a lot of B - Ballers in the house so it’s been a big deal around here )
It’s finally starting to feel like summer! We’ve got fields and fields of flowers planted this year and all the rain is making everything green and growing like weeds ( even the weeds :)
Kota’s favorite time of the year ….she loves her baby chicks ❤️
Happy Mothers Day to all the fur, human, and any type of Mama out there !
Celebrating our grads here the next few weeks starting with Becca’s graduation from CU Boulder !! Love you Becca….best son’s girlfriend ever ❤️
Every year, just when I think the entire lavender field is brown and dead, everyone starts to come back to life with little sprigs of green here and there and we know it’s time to plant our propagated plants that have been growing and waiting to go outside all winter! Looks like we had a nearly 100% survival rate in the field this winter ….and it was cold one!
Some of my farm beauties tonite as the storm blew in! The lighting was perfect - wind a little crazy❤️

Spring has finally arrived in Colorado and our lavender is gearing up for blooming season ! Full blooms starting first week of July through mid august when we harvest and extract essential oils for all of our farm products! This year we are expanding and increasing our plants by 3 times the amount we currently have !
Searching for a home for Kota! Kpta is a G2 King Shepherd and will be four in March . She is spayed and up to date on vaccines and has basic obedience training . She loves small livestock and chickens and would be a great addition to a farm. Loves to run! She would do best in a home dedicated to her training as an only dog or possibly with another male dog. She does not like Strange people or dogs and is a great guard on our farm letting us know when someone should not be here . She is not getting along with my other female King who is recovering from a serious injury. Kota has realized her weakness and is vying for alpha spot in our pack which is making Homegirls recovery harder and harder . Please contact Me with interest or questions Thanks
Homegirl is back to taking ( shorter ) walks with the whole pack ! 8 weeks ago , I didn’t know if this would ever happen again! ❤️❤️moral of the story- don’t give up no matter what anyone tells you…..the largest and most reputable vet hospital in Colorado recommended euthanasia. Because she’s so large and there was no way to know if she’d ever regain function ,they said it would be impossible to care for her , she wasn’t eating or drinking and had no control of her bowels. It hasn’t been easy at all, but she is the best girl and deserved every ounce of this chance that I could give her.
Homegirl !!!!! She is working on just being able to get up on her own but as you can see, she’s almost able to walk alone! She needs to regain strength, but I could not be happier at her amazing progress over the month ! This is testament that there is always hope. When one of the “ best “ medical vet schools in our state suggested I euthanize her that day , I took her and we walked right out! I’m exhausted but it’s all been worth it! I love this girl.
Big improvements day after day ! We are almost a month out from Homegirls injury and she improves everyday with lots of work , love and physical therapy!
Heading over to the big farm for the nightly farm run around! Weather was perfect so the dogs enjoyed lots of time running , playing , swimming and relaxing ❤️
My farm helper- at nearly 180 pounds, he really needs his own tractor! He’s always along for the ride !
