Slab City Springers began over 20 years ago in Slab City Wi with Jay and Sue (Conover Wi) falling in love with the breed and what it all has to offer. The breed stuck with the family; Jared who now has Double Down Springers in Shawano Wi, Jen the main editor of this page and also located in Shawano Wi, and Ben and Megan who are a big part of the socialization of the puppies. We all take great prid

e in the 5 generations of dogs that we have been able to have as part of our family. We love the springer spaniel for its willingness to learn and for how diverse the breed truly is. From loving pets in the home, the obedience ring, dock diving, and the hunting fields our goal is to breed a springer that can do it all. Our adults are health tested for genetic traits that are important to the breed and we pay extremely close attention to the temperaments of the dogs that we choose are exceptional to pass on their genetics to the next generation. We currently are offering our liver and white tri colored roan male Slab City Scouts Royal Integrity for stud services to approved females only. We have the occasional litter once or twice a year in either Conover at Jay and Sue's or in Shawano at Jen's. Typically, there is a wait list for our puppies so getting on our list sooner gives families a better chance at adding a Slab City Springer to the family.

Dierks, Stella, and Gin participated in the annual county fair obedience show tonight! Dierks earned his CGC title in addition to having a passing score in his first puppy class. The best part of the whole night though was having the next generation cheering from the sidelines! It won’t be long till Maebel is showing her dog along with us!

We are really excited to share what will hopefully be our next litter!

This litter is especially exciting for us because Buck is a fourth generation girl from our breeding program and exhibits all of the qualities we strive to breed for! She goes back to our matriarch girl Brandy, for those of you who have been following us for a while you may know her. Jerzy is a puppy out of Gin and Waylon making him a fifth generation dog from our program.

Dunkin (Gin x Waylon) I absolutely love the trainability that this pair produces in their puppies! Jack at Missing Piece Canine Academy does a fantastic job training if anyone is looking for long term training!
