Oh hello!

I’ve been craving stillness and quiet a lot lately and this deer invited me to do just that - be still and quiet. Even Lukas joined us. In that moment - I was also able to give myself some grace for needing to set up some boundaries this week that were hard to make (oh, ego) and so needed (yay soul!) My dog is Lukas is helping me call Faith into my 8th house by showing me how to take care of myself in my grief with long walks and sleeping when I need to.

He is also showing me to let go of false beliefs of unworthiness that live in my 2nd house by continually helping me deepen my readings with people (has he ever started digging or stretching in a session with you?!?) which helps me grow my intuitive talents.

Connecting animals and humans

On a freezing, cold day in January 2003, I was on my way back to my day job when I spotted a young dog wandering around in a bad part of town. I had been moonlighting as a dog trainer for a few years and used every behavioral skill I had to coax the pup toward me for over 45 minutes. When he finally decided I was the real deal, he jumped in my car and looked at me as if to say “alright then, let’s go!” That decision led to a tightly bound relationship between me and Bono, a german shepherd mix, for the following 15 years. Today, almost 2 years since his passing, he is still by my side, as my Spirit Guide. Bono led me down the path to become an Animal Communicator and to become more connected to nature and to my spiritual self. It is in his honor that I started Spiritus Animal Communication. He and I believe that humans need to be aware of our place in nature if we are to realize our full potential and understand our place in the universe.
