Erdmann Angus Ranch is a first-generation ranch owned and operated by Jeremy, Stacy, Rylee & Kaylee Erdmann. What is Vita Ferm you may ask?

Located in Lisbon North Dakota, a small town in Southeastern North Dakota on the edge of the Sheyenne National Grasslands. Jeremy and I have been using Vita Ferm Mineral for our Cattle, Horses and Sheep for more than 10 years! We believe that this product really works to keep the overall health of our livestock up- which in turn benefits us in every aspect of our animals growth and performance! Th

e biggest thing that brought us to continue with using Vita Ferm for so long is because of our conception rates with our cattle. We have a small herd of registered Angus Cows and with our cows it's important to us that each cow becomes pregnant in their first heat cycle. We AI our cows and our conception rates have stayed consistantly around 80%! For our small herd that is really important to us so that we can utilize the best possible genetics to obtain high quality Angus seedstock. We have a wide variety of mineral products available from Vita Ferm- and many of our products can be tailored to your needs of your livestock. From calving/lambing/foaling season to weaning, backgrounding to feedlot, performance horses to show cattle, sheep or even pigs! We really do have something that would work for you. Well it is just the unique name to describe our products. Vita covers the complete Vitamin package from calves to lambs, sows to cows. And Ferm stands for the product Amaferm- this is what makes our mineral programs so unique- Amaferm is an extract of Aspergillus oryzae, a fungi that has been proven to double fungal plant invasion activity. As a result, bacterial numbers double or triple, not because they caused more plant substrate to become available but because they were provided more substrate access by the fungi. What does this mean to your livestock? Well it's a whole host of things that increases the work in the digestive system of our animals- increase in fungal response to the fiber break down, then digestive bacteria become healthier and more abundant allowing better and more effcient breakdown of the feedstuffs in digestion. Really what this means for a livestock producer is more consistant and better digestive enviroment for your animals which helps them get through any kind of stress, increase weight gain while on feed because they are more efficient in there intakes, more milk production because their energy needs have been met to maintain themselves first, really they are healthier because their bodies are more balanced and not lacking in one way or another!
