Brush and Comb Daily!!
It is extremely important to brush and comb your pets daily. Especially long haired pets. Not brushing and combing daily could result in Mat development. There can be severe consequences when pets develop mats. Matting can cause skin problems and/or the need to shave down the pet. Very large/dense mats can even affect the dogs ability to move properly.

Proper Brushing and combing Technique

Begin at rear foot. With free hand, hold the hair back and layer brush, working up the legs. For the body start at the base of the tail, hold hair back and brush in layers to head. On the head, start at one ear, work to other ear in layers. Same with cheek and muzzle. Proceed to tail. Brush again in layers, holding extra hair in other hand. Do not brush the skin repeatedly as this will cause brush burn.

Finishing: Comb through each section with a fine tooth comb to check for mats and tangles.
Maintain those fur babies coats in between grooming services, they will truly thank you in the long run! 🐾
