AND YET ANOTHER RESCUE GONE HOARDER!! We NEED to pass laws to do mandatory spaying and neutering of dogs and cats . We need to find a way to where it can be done for free where it is federally funded (I get it. We already spend a lot of money, but a lot of money is spent on crap things. This could actually make a real difference ) PLEASE!!! Rescues are full shelters are full people are still giving up on their pets. People will do anything to keep dogs alive because they don’t want to euthanize them. There is nowhere for them to go so now they are being warehoused in boxes and crates and small kennels 😓😓😓 It is worse than being killed !!! we need to start keeping an eye on these situations. What might have been an awesome rescue at one time might be overwhelmed and a hoarder at this time !!!! 😳😓😓😡literally hundreds of animals

Honestly, the reason the country is in such bad shape is that we cannot agree to disagree-it has gotten to the point that people think “you’re either with me or you’re against me. “-and that is not the case at all we are all free to have our own opinions and beliefs. What I believe today I might feel differently a year from now -sometimes we believe some thing and our life changes or we see new research or information and we change our thoughts and our opinions -we need to get away from this thought process -people are making so many things dealbreakers and they’re really not❤️
The country is so divided and I honestly cannot wait for the election in 2028 -I am hoping in another four years we have two candidates that the majority of the American people can accept-this divide of hate is horrible 🥲🙏

So many people “ want a dog” or adopt a dog -AND IN THE FIRST WEEK are like “ ya this is not working “ !!! Humans suck!! Out of the 5 fosters I have two keep “ coming back” because people don’t want to put in the work, work with the dog and let it decompress!! THEY ALL “ know what the dog needs “!!! ( not them of course BUT with someone else ) 🤣of course - they need to adopt a plant !! A fake one at that !! If people put in an effort for just 30 days and really try adjustments , try what trainers suggest, try to WORK on it- more pups would be successful- 🥲💔Frustrating!!

We need laws we need laws we NEED LAWS!!!! BACKYARD BREEDERS!! They will not stop until they are forced to-they will not stop until they get fines and our charge money to fix this crap..
So now we have a litter of puppies -and several adults-no one spayed or neutered. No one is vaccinated.-
BUT WAIT!!!  they want to keep one of the puppies. Why do you think that is?🙄🙄 so they can start this s**t all over again and we let them do it with no repercussions.😢😢😢😢
Statistics say that more than half that litter will either be dead or in a shelter by the time it’s one year old -lovely absolutely lovely🤬🤬🤬🤬

Join us for a fundraising event on May 3rd at the Elk’s Lodge. There will be Bunco, raffles, and a silent auction, as well as snacks and drinks!

ANIMAL CARE SPECIALIST POSITION AVAILABLE: I am going to start taking applications by the end of March to hire a person who is available 4 to 5 mornings a week. Days can be flexible. Job includes feeding and doing medication’s for dogs. Cleaning kennels, such as vacuuming, mopping, and changing water buckets. Cleaning outside Kennels. Checking dogs in and checking dogs out.. must be dependable and have your own transportation to and from work. Must be bondable and able to pass a drug test. Preferably looking for somebody who lives in the Gardnerville Minden area .We start In the mornings around 6 AM or 6:30 AM…. Usually done in four hours.. starting is $18 an hour. Update: Adopted!

Meet Gidget! She is about 2.5 months old and has had her first set of puppy vaccines. We think she is a Chihuahua mix. She is tiny but has lots of energy and is very sweet and playful.

These elections are getting ridiculous. You can’t make sense of a primary or a caucus or who’s doing what or what counts for what it’s frustrating and confusing and quite honestly I think that’s what both sides want.😡😡
With that said, I hope somebody “in the middle“ wins . I have voted for Trump in the past. I am Republican though I vote both sides on who I think would do the best job.
I won’t vote for Trump this time around because to me if Biden is in office or if Trump is in office the country will never come back together. We have to find somebody in the middle. I think it’s very important to bring us all back together and not have such a standoff to where we move nowhere , we never move forward. We just keep going back.😓😓😓 so I guess I will be voting on February 6 and February 8. I wonder if they can make it even more confusing next year🤔🤔🙄🙄 no matter who you vote for get out and vote💜
