We give our deepest, sincere appreciation to our amazing volunteers for helping us with the over 3 feet of snow on the roofs of our tiger, primate, and dog cages. Thank you all so much for keeping our animals safe in a very dangerous situation. Love, Rob and Penny Needleman 🙏🏾🐯🐵🐶🦊❤️

Snowball is enjoying his bone. 🐯❤️Every Sunday the tigers fast and get a bone to support their dental health while fasting turns on longevity genes! 👏🏽
Tigers have extremely powerful jaws
with razor-sharp canines which can measure nearly 3 inches in length.
They can deliver a bite with tremendous force. Their bite can exert a pressure of up to 1,050 pounds per square inch (psi), which is strong enough to crush bones and pe*****te through thick hides. To put that into perspective, the average human bite force is around 160 psi. 😎

The Oregon Tiger Sanctuary is very appreciative to our attending veterinarian Dr. Stephen Tesluk, owner of Ashland Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Tesluk and his wife Susan found and rescued this injured bald eagle at emigrant lake.
They brought the eagle to our friends at Wildlife Images and after extensive treatments and rehabilitation the eagle was able to be released back at emigrated lake to be with his/her mate. Dr Tesluk is an incredibly skilled and compassionate veterinarian and we’re deeply grateful to him and Susan for all they do for the animals at the Oregon Tiger Sanctuary and for so many people’s personal animals in Oregon and California. 🙏🏾🐯❤️ 🙏🏾
