This is Forrest with his loving mom. She called for training help and when I heard about his bright red itchy belly and legs, I couldn't help it!!! I went into NUTRITION mode. No more pills, injections and vet foods! He is eating gently cooked and just introduced a new kibble eaten only 1x/ day. Belly is now after 2 most, healed & less itchy. Mom listened, she investigated everything I proposed including a dog sensetivity test which helped guide us to the correct food. You can't change the outdoor environment but you can improve inside living and nutrition. Nice job mom, and Forrest is a healthier boy!

Independence Day is the worst time of year for US shelters and they typically see a 30-60% influx of animals who go missing due to fireworks.

DOG SAFETY TIPS:
* Walk earlier in the day
* Keep pets indoors
* Secure fences, windows, doors
* Provide a safe space
* Use distractions - Noise, treats or toys
* Calming medications - consult vet
* Microchip & fitted collar with ID tags

I volunteer at Dallas Animal Services and Adoption Center and they are critically over capacity at the moment. They’ve had several great promotions with adoption/ foster incentives and microchip specials over the past few weeks to prepare for this time period.

About Heide’s Pet Care Services Doggie Day Care, Dog Training, and all-new location with Dog Food and Dog Treats selected by a dog trainer to provide the best in nutrition for your dog.

Visit us at our new location at 5407 Westfair Avenue, Suite 1 in Schofield, Wisconsin. Our hours for the store parallel Doggie Day Care, which is run in back of the store. Our hours currently are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday as well as every other Friday from 7am to 6pm.

You will enjoy shopping for your dog’s treats and dog food. I carefully selected brands and products that I trust for your dog. Nutrition is key to raising healthy dogs and too many products don’t deliver. Please come and check out our options, which will continue to expand as the store grows in popularity.

You may recognize me from HR Max, LLC Pet & Home Care, which is the official name of my company. I provide pet care services in the Wausau, Wisconsin area.
