Meet Cardi (girl) and casper (grey and white boy ). They are brother and sister and now looking for a home together or with another cat at home for companionship.
They will be shy at first as the were found living under a deck. It only took 3 weeks in foster care for them to realise they just love people and want to be lap cats. Around 5 months old they are playing and cuddly so maybe older children who can respect their space, and at the same time play with their favourite toys on a string
Their only fault is that they love to purr around your legs as you walk along, causing you to trip over them, who can blame them for wanting to give so much love though! 🩵🐈🩷🩵🐈🩷

So if its not a little baby kitty you want, how about a mom who had no choice but to have babies but now after working hard and raising those sweet kitties she’s showing her foster mom how playful and loving she really is.
Meet Miss purrfect Cleo, clean, litter boxed trained. Gets on with other cats and dogs and very affectionate towards people, but still plays like a young girl. We probably estimate her age at no more than two years.

Remember long term resident, shy, quiet, but super sweet Kevin? He was approx 6-7 years old when he was pulled from the euthanasia list of a terrible shelter which will not be named and brought to Purrfect Pets. It took some time; Kevin didn’t show well and had no interest in interacting with new people. To be fair he was given no reason to trust people at all for so much of his life; no one could blame him for his reticence. His foster mom, now his forever mom saw through all of that though and fell in love with Kevin who returns her affection in full! And by the looks of our most recent update, it seems he’s gone to full time in the biscuit factory! His mom says it’s his only option since he really does make the best biscuits ever. 😻😻😻😻😻
Snickers & kittens 2023
Mondays are just not fun… Except when you’re in your kitten room with snickers, and all her candy kittens!
Look who is settling in to a foster home this evening. This was one of our wildest and longest transports ever but Snickers and her babies are safe and warm and most importantly loved! It proves that on so many levels it really does “take a village” and we are so grateful and thankful for our “village” of supporters that made this possible.
The hard part isn’t quite over yet though, 5 kittens and mama are going to rack up some medical bills and of course eat like tiny velociraptors while they are growing and preparing for adoption. We welcome all donations of kitten dry food, canned food, bedding, toys, anything you think a growing kitten might need; and of course monetary donations are always needed. Even just a dollar here and there goes such a long way to getting these cats into their perfect forever homes and giving them the best life possible. These precious babies really do deserve it!

Some of you might remember a previous long term resident, Kevin. Kevin had been through a lot including who knows how many years living on the streets before one of our volunteers snatched him from the euthanasia list of a “shelter” who won’t be named. He was pulled literally hours before he was to be destroyed. He spent the next year and a half with us being a sweet but quiet and extremely shy little guy. It took Kevin months to allow himself to be pet and even then it was only by a chosen few.
Then Purrfect Pets got the notice that we had to relocate and all of our cats had to be moved into foster homes during the relocation. Kevin went with the rest of his roommates to a wonderful foster home. But the thing is, he wasn’t like the rest of his roommates, and foster mom knew it. She decided to try him “upstairs” instead of in her cat room to see if he would be happier. And he was! He decided he was at home for good and foster mom was upgraded to forever mom.
Now here is the best part. We got this video of Kevin meowing. What an adorable squeaky meow he has! In a year and a half at Purrfect Pets, no one ever heard a peep from him. Seeing him at home and comfortable enough to meow at his mom brought tears to our eyes.
We will always love Kevin and we are so grateful to Paula D. for giving him his perfect forever home! 😻😻😻😻😻
